The house was very clean and a great stay! Hot tub was clean and easy to use. Check in and out was simple. Not necessarily lake front but was fine for what we wanted.
Cabin was clean & cozy.We enjoyed having campfires & the hot tub was appreciated after long hikes @the state park.Only downfalls were that the beds/pillows were not at all comfortable & we woke up cold during the night as the pellet stove didnât seem to keep the upstairs warm. Downstairs was perfect temp.
The cabin and hot tub were nice. But, I made the mistake of placing our bicycles in the unlatched garage which subsequently latched when I closed the door. I apologized for the bad judgment albeit an nonmalicious mistake. I said I would happily pay to have someone come and unlock the door. I was surprised when my credit card was charged not only for unlocking the garage door, but also for additional bogus charges. It was claimed that we had damaged the garage door, but it opened easily when I tried it because it had not been properly latched by the owner. The owner determined that because I opened the unlatched door I should pay additional charges for doing something to the rail. But, the rail must have had issues prior to my opening the door as it had failed to properly latch when the owner closed it. The charges were minimal, but insulting. For those of you who hope to stay here in the future, I hope you have a better experience.
Very clean, hot tub was perfect, and surrounding area was beautiful. The internet wasn't available when we were there, but we were disconnecting so it was not a problem.
Beautiful property in a great location. Such a cozy cabin. Excellent choice for a Ludington getaway. It's the perfect spot if you are traveling with a furry friend.
Super cute cabin. Was perfect for 5 of us. The location is perfect for what we wanted. No close neighbors but still close enough to town to be convenient!
We were not super impressed. The lake is full of weeds and you cannot actually kayak in it, the dock is falling apart and isnât safe for kids. The roof was leaking when we had a heavy rain storm. The skylight windows were so dirty and muddy you couldnât see out of them. The handle to the silverware drawer came off as soon as we pulled it. The hot tub was under filled and they had to come fill it - it was lovely on our last day but hard to use before that. We didnât realize how low it was until it started shooting water across the deck. It was overpriced for the experience we got.
This property was absolutely amazing, and just as I expected and hoped for. It had a rustic cabin feel with some modern updates. The location was perfect. It was close enough to town but quiet and in the woods. We did not use the hot tub, but enjoyed the fire pit several times.
beautiful home in the woods. Everything was as described. The only negative was the lake across the street was extremely weedy. It did not take away from the wonderful weekend we had. We would love to stay again in the future. Close to downtown Ludington and the beautiful state park that is a must see.
The house was very clean and well maintained. The hot tub and fire pit were great outdoor activities for both the kids and the adults. The kids also loved playing in the woods around the house. The property itself is very secluded. The area is also great, close to Lake Michigan! Great for a family with a few kids. Definitely recommend!
Not a great first impression. Weeds in the flower area, lots of spider webs around property and some inside. Dead bugs in door frames. They had kayaks but to get them to the water would be tough with the gravel road and hills.Hot tub nice.
I cant express how greatful i am that i chose to stay with matt and laura at their great cabin. They went above and beyond to make me and my family feel welcomed and cared for. Everything was perfect inside and our family had a great time!!! We will definitely be back next year, Thanks again matt and laura for a great stay!!!!
