Ce chalet offre un environnement agrĂ©able et confortable qui vous fait vous sentir comme chez vous. Cette maison est offerte aux voyageurs pour la premiĂšre fois! La maison est situĂ©e Ă  distance de marche du lac Pauline et du lac Rescue, Ă  seulement 5 minutes de la montagne Okemo, du complexe Jackson Gore Adventure, du parcours de golf Fox Run et des boutiques et restaurants du centre-ville. La maison est situĂ©e dans une zone boisĂ©e privĂ©e avec une grande terrasse et dispose Ă©galement d'un porche grillagĂ©. Killington Mountain est situĂ© Ă  seulement 20 minutes de la maison et si vous aimez faire du vĂ©lo de montagne, consultez le Evolution Bike Park Ă  l'Okemo Resort. PoĂȘle Ă  bois disponible pour les nuits trĂšs froides et beaucoup de couvertures confortables.

La maison a trois chambres et deux salles de bain complĂštes.
La chambre principale est située au premier étage. Il est parfaitement meublé avec du parquet et des commodes. Deux chambres supplémentaires sont situées au deuxiÚme étage, les chambres sont parfaitement meublées et beaucoup d'espace pour toutes vos affaires. Tous les placards sont équipés de cintres en velours.
La buanderie est située dans la salle de bain du premier étage. Profitez de la véranda avec des lumiÚres du globe pour une soirée relaxante.

Des animaux sauvages comme les cerfs viennent visiter la propriété assez souvent et sont généralement vus le matin depuis les grandes portes coulissantes du salon ou de la terrasse, alors profitez d'une tasse de Joe et du paysage.

Au printemps et en Ă©tĂ©, apportez votre bateau, kayaks ou canoĂ«s pour profiter des 2 lacs, Ă  seulement 5 minutes Ă  pied de la maison. Le lac Pauline est adaptĂ© aux kayaks et aux canoĂ«s et le lac Rescue est adaptĂ© aux bateaux, alors amenez votre famille au printemps et en Ă©tĂ© et profitez de la pĂȘche, du canotage et de certaines aventures d'Ă©tĂ©.

10 out of 10 all around! The house was pristine, spacious and cozy at the same time, and nestled beautifully in the woods. The screened in porch was a real treat to read/write in the morning when it was raining. Our vacation was a mix of adventure and relaxing - it felt like we were 'home'. The owners are a dream to communicate with - very attentive, responsive and kind. The pictures don't do the home justice - you will be happy with your choice!

Great private location, close to many amenities

Such a great cabin! Quiet and very clean! We loved the large deck and screened in porch for rainy and bug free nights. The only downfall I would say is the restricted areas around the lakes. No parking, private property signs everywhere on Spruce Lane! Which is walking distance from the cabin. I wouldn't recommend waling the path in Spring. We would have welcomed a few friendly signs on the path from the back of the cabin leading us to the beachy area. However, we never made it to the little beach steps because of the condo at the end, which clearly stated private property all around it. The area overall gave us other swimming holes and would be great for kayaking at the boat launch up the road.Lastly, we did hit a rare heat wave of 98 degrees in June. There were ample fans but a portable floor a/c unit would have been great addition for a summer rental. The owners are super nice and we'd definitely love to be there in Fall.

What a pleasure staying at the Cozy Chalet! It's even bigger and prettier in person. I almost hesitate to rave too much because I want it to be available to us for our next trip. Our host was so communicative before and throughout; her tip about seeing bears shortly before we arrived not only helped us keep our pup safe but also prompted us to get up at dawn every morning and look for them- leading to an amazing bear-viewing opportunity our first morning! We found the location ideal for our drives and hikes. The trail in the backyard was broken and dangerous, but we found our way to the lake via the main roads using the guest instructions, which were thorough. If I had to search my mind to find a negative, I guess it would be learning that the grill was unusable- but it was pre-summer so assuming we'd use it was on me; I will simply check first next time! This rental provides everything you need, and next time I will just remember my slippers for easy indoor/outdoor transition. Because there will definitely be a next time!

Lovely ski house

The house was exactly as we expected. The kitchen was well stocked and worked out well as we cooked dinners every night. The owner was so quick to respond to my questions and was a pleasure to deal with. We were originally scheduled to arrive but our arrival was delayed due to a huge snow storm. The owner kept us abreast of the weather and worked with us to allow us a later checkout so we could make up for the lost day of skiing. That was a really nice gesture on her part. We appreciated her generosity to work with our situation. Our entire stay was wonderful.

Ski Weekend

Travelled up to Ludlow with friends to ski Okemo for the weekend. The cabin had every amenity we could ask for, and being so close to the mountain was an added bonus. The listing was very accurate and the owners are super nice and answered any and every question we had.

Nice house and stay but take precautions

We recently stayed at a cozy home in Ludlow, Vermont, for a family ski trip. The house had an aged charm but was clean and comfortable, making it a good spot for our getaway. The owner was very responsive and made check-in easy, which we appreciated. However, we had some issues that affected our experience. We arrived around midnight on a chilly night, and the house was absolutely freezing. Despite calling the owners, the house didn’t warm up until the morning, and it was tough with young kids. There’s a wifi thermostat, so we were surprised it wasn’t preheated. The next morning, the driveway hadn’t been treated, and we struggled to get our car out due to ice. This could have been handled by the owner, especially considering the weather conditions. These weren’t huge problems, and the owners were interested in helping, but what was really disappointing was that we were charged a cleaning fee for minor things like not taking out the garbage and leaving a couple of glasses in the sink. We didn’t even think to ask for any compensation for the inconvenience, but it felt like they took advantage of the situation. It left us with a bit of a sour taste at the end of an otherwise nice stay.

This is a perfect cabin for a ski trip to Okemo. Better than the pics. Big kitchen, plenty of room to hang out, kids can seperate from adults easily, I could go on, and on. 3 minute drive to Jackson Gore. 5 mins to main street. Great place, would definitely book again without hesitation.

Excellent for Fall Foliage

Wonderful property in the woods, short walk to water, close to so many small, classic VT towns with historic sites & quaint shops, galleries & restaurants. We love hiking & canoeing, so the nearby State Parks & hiking trails were wonderful. Our favorite place was VIN Nature Center where we saw many raptors and learned so much. Coming "home" to this beautiful vacation home at the end of each day & sitting out on the deck or on the screened in porch was perfect.

Cozy, quiet, as described - a few small drawbacks

Lovely cabin, well situated not far from a cute town and surrounded by trees. Convenient drive to a nearby park. The path to the nearby lake goes through a muddy path, so they were kind enough to create a bit of an elevated walkway
 the only drawback was they used around one or two dozen wooden palates as part of this, lying them flat on the ground
. during our stay a few of them were rotting, so planks snapped if you weren’t really careful, or were just unlucky, and rusty nails were exposed. A bit of a challenge where you’re walking home from a dip in the lake, but doable as long as you’re careful. The mattresses in the two bedrooms with Queen beds were extremely soft, not good if you prefer or need a firmer mattress. The hosts were fast with replies and the home is well loved and charmingly appointed. They warned us not to leave trash in the outdoor bin since a bear had broken the locks. We didn’t, though did come very close to a bear who walked up to the trash bin to smell it, and right onto the porch as well to sniff the surroundings. Fortunately we were inside. It was around 2pm, and we were about to head out and nearly bumped into the bear. Seemed like a bear just calmly making its rounds- maybe it was the one who broke the locks! Guess that’s part of the Vermont experience
. I imagine they’ll fix the outdoor trash bin, and, after all, the bears were probably living in the area before people moved in, so we can’t blame the bears!

Spacious and cute! Sleeps at least 8 with 2 full baths. We only wish it was closer to the water, it was too awkward to bring our SUPs through the woods to the tiny lakefront access. Dog friendly, too!

Great cottage, close to skiing and quiet setting

Great place to stay for an early spring ski trip and eclipse viewing (we drove north after checking out). Clean, cozy place and pet friendly for our small dog. Located on a quiet dirt road but close to Ludlow town center and Okemo for skiing. Not too far from Killington either (which is where we went to ski). Minor issue for me was the bed was a bit too soft for my liking but otherwise, great place and would consider again in future.

Mountain house minutes to Okemo

Enjoyed our 3 night stay in March. Treated to a big 2’ snow fall. Drive way was plowed three times during the snow and helped us manage to drive to Okemo for a day of powder. House was comfortable and clean. Has cabin atmosphere.
