Good! but certain expected things not included...

The Manager was great! and welcoming! However, since we were guests from Canada, when we arrived we quickly realized a few expected supplies weren't available like toilet paper!, garbage bags, dish soap - when we inquired, we were told that these supplies weren't included! The next day was Sunday and all stores are closed in that area so this proved to be very awkward - rationing toilet paper!! This needs to be reconsidered or at least posted on their site - especially for those travelling afar.

Prima maar

Een prachtige omheinde plek in het bos. Kind-en diervriendelijk. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Minpunten zijn de steile trappen in huis(gevaarlijk voor jonge kinderen) en het hoge cloorgehalte in het zwembadje. Hierdoor kregen meerdere personen last van de luchtwegen en ogen. Top was het speeltuintje met speelhuisje. De kleinkinderen waren hier helemaal weg van. Top was ook de sauna

Directe actie vereist!

De ligging en omgeving van dit vakantiehuis zijn prachtig. Onze ontvangst was goed en in het huis zijn er veel faciliteiten om het de gasten naar de zin te maken. Kortom: alle ingrediënten voor een leuk familieweekend! Tijdens onze aankomst roken wij wel de chloorlucht op de begane grond en bij het zwembad in het souterrain, maar er werd nog volop schoongemaakt en er stond een grote schuifpui open in de woonkamer. Al snel was duidelijk waarom deze bij onze aankomst openstond. Op de begane grond (keuken en huiskamer) is de chloorlucht duidelijk aanwezig. Na het gebruik van de jet-stream in het zwembad verergerde de situatie en niet alleen de chloorlucht. De gezinsleden die gebruik hebben gemaakt van het zwembad direct na aankomst kregen dezelfde avond al klachten. Deze klachten bestonden onder andere uit: rode branderige ogen, hoesten en jeuk over het hele lichaam. Twee gezinsleden die het langst gebruik hebben gemaakt van het zwembad met jet-stream zijn ’s nachts nog zieker geworden. De klachten die erbij kwamen bestonden uit: benauwd, kortademig, heel erg hoesten, zere dikke keel, veel slijmvorming en hoofdpijn. Uiteraard heeft niemand meer gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad! We hebben een watermonster meegenomen uit het zwembad en hieruit blijkt dat de ph- en chloorwaarden van het water zeer laag zijn wat duidt op zeer vervuild zwembadwater!! Een bezoek aan de huisarts in verband met deze luchtwegklachten heeft dit bevestigd. Zeer geïrriteerde ogen, keel, slijmvliezen en luchtwegen! Onze gezondheid is in gevaar gebracht en dit nemen wij de eigenaar en ook Belvilla zeer kwalijk! Helaas hebben wij na afgelopen weekend pas eerdere vergelijkbare ervaringen teruggelezen in de recensies. De eigenaar van het huis moet dit zeer serieus nemen! Dit mag andere gasten niet nogmaals overkomen (zeker niet met kleine kinderen!!) en Belvilla zal hierop moeten toezien! Wij hebben zelf gezorgd voor een leuk familieweekend, maar daar heeft deze ervaring niet aan bijgedragen! Vriendelijke groet, familie Westdijk.
