The house was great! Very nice and very clean. It was a couple of blocks from downtown and about 15 minutes from the Thornton Gap entrance station for Shenandoah national park, which was a great location for our activities. The host was very responsive and easy to coordinate with. Would definitely recommend this house to others!
My family wanted to do a last minute staycation. We found this quaint house listed and within our budget. There was a minor miscommunication with the booking but the owner was very understanding and quickly adjusted the issue. Overall, the house was great for my family of 5 with separate bed space for all. The house was very well stocked with dishes, utensils and even salt and pepper. The location was convenient to Luray and Shenandoah caverns. It was great to getaway for a little relaxation and this home was just that for us. We didnât really use it but there was great backyard space. We enjoyed a movie night in the great living room space and played board games. I would definitely recommend this home if youâre looking for a hassle free getaway.
We were recommended the town of Luray for our Shenandoah trip and found this little hidden gem of a house on VRBO. The location is great, close to town and very easy trip out to the national park. Everything was clean and looked new! Size of the house was great and for all our needs. We spent a lot of time on the back porch and used the fire pit! Would stay again if we are in the area in the future!
My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. The house was very clean and Luray is a charming little town. We were so close to the Shenandoah NP and the Nee Market Battlefield. We would love to come back and stay again. It was a bonus the the Mexican restaurant is right next door!!
We were a party of 8 ( 2small kids) the rooms were spacious and the living room even more. The jacuzzi on the front porch is different but it works if you just in it at night time. The back porch has super comfortable seating and itâs more privacy. Sitting outside though will make you hungry, due to there being a Mexican restaurant right there and the smells are amazing⊠and yes we had to try it now too âŠ. Amazing Food.
As to the sleeping arrangements, there were two queen Air Mattress to use, plenty of pillows, one extra comforter, but no extra sheets to put on the mattress itself. Also with us being a bigger Party there were only 6 showers towels, no extras.
Since it was mother day weekend⊠we wanted to enjoy family time together and also wanted to cook breakfast in the morningâŠ. Plates, cereal bowls, coffee mugs and cooking utensils, but only 6 forks. Also there were no mixing bowls for pancake mix.
Overall we enjoyed ourselvesâŠ. And would 100% stay again
This was a single family home via VRBO that I found on Travelocity. It was a very clean home, right off main street and not far from Luray Caverns and Shanadoah National Park. We were only 2 people so we probably didn't need this much space, but I could see it being great for a family or group of friends.
Our family was in town for a wedding. Sadath and his wife were very friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early & being quick to respond to any inquiries we had. Through the chaos of wedding events, it was a pleasure to come home to a clean, quiet, & comfy home. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Luray, thanks again Sadath!
Great place not far outside Shenandoah park and has easy access to all the Luray sites. It is located a next to the Main Street that leads into downtown, so it is a little busy during the day but quiet at night. Everything is neat and clean and well appointed. Beds were super comfortable, which can be hard to find in rentals. The hot tub was superb and it was great to sink into after hiking all day. It is a little weird being on the front porch, but we setup the hot tub cover so it blocked the view. Had a great trip and this place helped!
House was clean and well provisioned (kitchen items, spices/cooking spray, plenty of towels, hairdryer, iron/ironing board). Beds were comfortable. Hot tub was nice, though its on the front porch- we used the cover and towels to create a little more privacy (though, the street isn't too busy). Walked to restaurants and greenway.
We had a great long weekend away enjoying the Luray area. The house was spotless we had what we needed. We all enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub each day and wish the weather had cooperated so we could have enjoyed a fire.
The host was phenomenal! He was excellent at communicating with us and happy to answer any questions we may have. We would love to stay at this property again, or another property managed by this host.
Great location close to the ballpark. Great place for a quiet getaway. Walk to grocery stores and restaurants. Wish we had time to shop in all the little shops in town.
