We arrived around 9pm and there was no one present in the lobby. It took a few minutes and finally a lady came in the building from smoking a cigarette in a parked car in the parking lot. Once we left the lobby to go to the room, a guy was outside the door asking if he could have our receipt from checking in. There were also random people hanging out around lobby and parking lot at all hours during our two nights there. This is definitely a get what you pay for location. Room was okay but definitely misleading by photos listed on site. We clearly could’ve changed hotels but the other options available in the proximity were also pretty outdated and appeared to offer the same “experience”. We made the best of our spontaneous weekend getaway but will most likely not be staying in the area again.

I don’t want just complain because I feel like that’s inappropriate, the location was excellent in the staff wasn’t horrible. An extra large cockroach came out to visit us the first night, he was swiftly extinguished. After the second one came out on our second day, we decided to pack up and leave

The town is very charming. Parking was convenient, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Restaurants were within easy walking distance. The building is quite old, which added some character, but the walls were thin, hallway lighting harsh even with blackout curtains, and the bathroom and beds were not very clean. Unfortunately, there were also many bugs in the room.

Room was ok. Black mold on the shower head though and definitely could use a good cleaning in the bathroom. Some places in the room were visibly dirty, but it was an okay stay for two nights. Bed was comfortable. Staff was pleasant.

There were bugs coming out of the shower drain and the room had an odor. The beds were uncomfortable and there was a dead bug smashed on the wall. After seeing the bugs in the shower I didn’t use the shower. 0/10 will not recommend. Told the staff and not even a discount or any kind of a refund was offered.

We had a man come in our room unannounced. He used a key. My daughter was standing with only a towel on. He was given our room number to spray for bugs. He didn’t knock or anything. Not only is this unsafe, I also have to wonder what kind of bugs he was spraying for.

The photos and description of this establishment were very deceiving. Please be aware that this is a MOTEL. You can tell that upgrades were completed on the room, however, quality control was lacking. Only 3 of the 4 lightbulbs over the bathroom mirror worked, the towel bar had been ripped off the wall and never replaced, the shower head was falling out of the wall, and dust in the room was so thick you could write in it. Additionally, the walls were paper thin, so be prepared to hear EVERYTHING that's going on with your neighbors.

The room was updated but there were certain designs that didn’t make sense, including an outlet below the light fixture that doesn't have enough clearance to plug in phone chaegers. The lady who checked us in was not friendly at all. The plus was the clean room and its close proximity to the historical downtown.

Good price for room.

Check in was good and staff was friendly. We didn’t do breakfast. Room had some issues such as bathroom door was chipped and dirty. Towel rack was broken so we had no where to put our towels. Room had a musty smell to it too. It is a little dated. Bed was pretty comfortable.But the price was good.
