We had a wonderful weekend visiting our son for his birthday. The home is absolutely beautiful! Loved all the original wood floors and the quaint front porch. Although we didnât use them, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware. I especially appreciated that an appropriate amount of towels and washcloths were provided. So many other places we have stayed have literally provided one washcloth and towel for a stay of several nights. Very grateful that you all provided for our needs! Will definitely consider staying here again!
Inside was very clean and well decorated. It was comfortable and felt like home. Great location for us. Lynchburg is a beautiful place and we would love to stay here again. The bagel place that was walking distance from the house was amazing. It was a lovely quiet friendly neighborhood .
The house was exceptional. It was very neat, clean and decorated with good taste. I would recommend it and wouldnât hesitate to come back again. The people in the neighborhood were friendly and we felt safe.
This was our second time staying at this property. We love the neighborhood and the house is very cozy. We spent a lot of time sitting on the porch! The beds are very comfortable-even the sofa bed. The kitchen is well equipped and has an awesome coffee station.
The house was nice but we had problems controlling the AC downstairs so Iâm hoping they get that fixed for upcoming rentals. Itâs an easy walk to town and restaurants. Unfortunately someone side swiped our rental car as it was parked on C street with more than enough room to drive by. That made for a frustrating last night/day!
We had a great time in Lynchburg and our stay in this property was a large part. Very clean and quiet. The neighborhood is very interesting (lots of history). Highly recommend.
This is a great home. Old home that has been very tastefully redone. Love the old charm mixed with the modernization. Very clean, comfortable place. The beds are super comfy. We came to town to visit LU with our daughter (17) and son came along as well (13). We all were impressed with the house. The neighborhood is an older one where some of the homes have been redone and some are still needing some work. But itâs in a great location to downtown, LU , and some of the other colleges in the area as well. We would stay here again.
We greatly enjoyed our time in this charming historic home. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. The decor is lovely and the house is very clean. There are two beds, one with a firm mattress and the other is soft. (The upstairs master bathroom does get a little chilly in the morning.) Cozy study nook upstairs was perfect for work or school. We loved the variety of dining options that were so close by. The owners were very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!
We stayed for a long weekend while my daughter danced in the Nutcracker downtown. The location was great - close to downtown, as well as biking trail by the river. We love the bagel shop! And the Christmas tree made us feel at home.
Very nice, cozy and comfortable home in an up-and-coming charming and historical neighborhood. Was a great base camp to visit with our kids at college, walk to downtown restaurants and simply relax and enjoy. Would absolutely recommend.
We had a wonderful experience staying at this charming home located in Lynchburg's historic district. It was the perfect getaway for our couples trip, offering everything we could possibly need and more. The house was exceptionally clean, with comfortable beds and several inviting areas to relax and appreciate its beauty. We are grateful for the opportunity to stay here and will definitely return in the future.
We loved our stay so much. We moved our daughter into her dorm at Liberty, and this home was such a little oasis while we were in Lynchburg. We loved all the historical charm of the home. So many cute fireplaces all throughout the house! Beautiful details that only come with old homes. I must say the king bed in the master bedroom was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. We would definitely love to stay here again.
Just returned from a weekend stay at this beautiful home. Although, being there for a nearby family reunion, we didnât have a chance to explore the area, the location seemed perfect for doing just that! The description and pictures of the property are completely accurate. The beds were so, so comfortable, the house was very clean, and the AC kept us super cool during a hot weekend. The hosts provided a welcome basket of snacks, coffee pods and creamers, which was so appreciated after a long day of travel and a late arrival. Communication with the host was amazingâŠthe best weâve ever experienced, with nearly immediate answers to our questions. If you need a wonderful place to stay in the Lynchburg area, stay here! We just hope you donât book it during the time we want to stay again! Haha!
My daughter and I visited my son who is attending medical school in Lynchburg. The home was just as it appears online and fully furnished with everything we needed. The beds were a highlight and so comfortable with plush linens. We hosted a brunch for a few friends, and there was plenty of room for all. Loved it, and can't wait to go back!
Lovely tea/coffee bar. Laundry soap pods and dryer sheets were much appreciated.
Historic neighborhood was a great setting and this home was restored beautifully. Great location in proximity to downtown, and great hiking/biking trails.
We really enjoyed our stay the National Parks Home. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Very quiet street with nice neighbors. Conveniently located, just minutes to everything!
What a treat to stay in a beautiful historic home! This house has everything you need for a comfortable and easy getaway. The beds (even the pull out sofa) are very comfortable and the bedding is beautiful and cozy. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook in. Our favorite part was the porch. We spend a lot of time sitting out there and enjoying the beautiful historic neighborhood views. Our son is planning to attend Liberty University so we will definitely stay here again when we visit him!
The bagel shop down the street was a fantastic bonus too!
This home has been beautifully renovated. It is so charming. It was a great location for me as I visited my mother who lives off of Rivermont Ave. The bed was so comfortable, I could have slept forever. I so appreciated the snacks in the kitchen. I had a very long day on my check-in day, so they ended up being my dinner. I had everything I needed, including coffee with creamer and sugar, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
We spent a night here while attending a graduation at Liberty. Everything was fantastic. The rennovations are top notch, the proximity to everythhing was graet. Beds were comfy and we had a fantastic time. Definitely will stay here again when going back to Liberty events!
