The Silo was a beautiful place and exactly what we needed for our stay. The property is cozy and comfortable, and the decor is amazing. Communication with the property owners was easy. We will definitely look to these owners ad this property for future stays.
What an unforgettable adventure! Growing up on a farm, I could never have pictured myself spending a night in a grain bin, but this extraordinary experience in Lynchburg proved me wrong in the best way possible. The setting was a delightful blend of rustic charm and creative innovation, offering a one-of-a-kind stay that felt both nostalgic and thrillingly new. The environment was vibrant, welcoming, and brimming with character, making it impossible not to embrace the joy of living life to its fullest. The host elevated the experience to another level with their exceptional hospitality. They didnât just meet expectationsâthey went above and beyond, ensuring every moment of our stay was memorable. From thoughtful touches around the property to their warm, genuine care, they made us feel right at home in this unconventional setting. When I accidentally left behind a cherished souvenir, the hostâs kindness shone through againâthey took the time and effort to ship it back to me, turning a potential loss into a heartwarming memory. This hidden gem is a must-visit for anyone passing through Lynchburg. Whether youâre a local looking for a unique getaway or a traveler seeking something truly special, this place delivers an experience thatâs as authentic as it is unforgettable. I canât recommend it highly enough! This version polishes the original text for clarity
First, let me say that the experience of staying in the Duke silo was fun! Everything was perfect and just as described. We were inspired with the ideas and how
Stayed just one night on the way home but loved it. I stayed in the Duke silo which is cowboy themed (case in point: a collection of books on John Wayne and his movies). Warm, clean and comfortable. Great hosts providing wonderful local advice and very accommodating. The communication was outstanding and very responsive. A bit tricky access if you follow Apple Maps directions. Easy remote check in. Real corn silo with an addition of a bedroom and an outdoor tub on the patio that I couldnât try out due to traveling in winter, but will next time. Wonderful people, great place and very close to Lynchburg and Jack Danielâs Distillery.
If you need a romantic getaway with your significant other these little silos fit the bill. My wife and I stayed in âThe Dukeâ which was perfectly decorated and incredibly charming. Kayla and her husband even left my wife a birthday card, roses, and a cake! From the moment we arrived you could feel the stress of life back in the city melting away. My only complaint is that I now have a honey do list a mile long because my wife got so many great ideas for projects and new decor! Also beware this place will totally make you want to start a homestead of your own! Anyways, these silos were truly a blessing to us and I know they will continue to be a blessing to others. Iâm very thankful for the time we spent there and definitely will return again!
My husband & I love finding unique places to stay. The Silos offered us just that. We struggled with which silo to choose, but my husband is a fan of the old westerns, so The Duke won out. It did not disappoint one bit. House had everything we needed. It was refreshing to unplug for a couple of days. We even spent some time under the stars & warmed by the fire pit. Downtown Lynchburg is so close & we loved how everyone was exceptionally friendly & knowledgable about the area. Weâve already said we plan to come back again.
The Duke Silo at Promise Manor was everything we needed and so much more! If it wasnât for our three little girls back home, we would have tried to stay forever! The concept and execution were fantastic. They thought of every creative detail and were well stocked with lots of little extras to make our stay comfortable. I originally found The Silos while looking for somewhere conveniently located near some of Tennesseeâs beautiful waterfalls. I grew up on a farm, often playing in an empty grain bin, so this precious âhomesteadâ turn my childhood imagination into a reality! Knowing nothing of Lynchburg, our stay here helped us discover the charming Lynchburg Cake Company and led us to tour the distillery. With a sunrise over the distant hills, a sunset over the barn, the cows dotting the ridge on the horizon and the birds chirping and hunting for food in the grass, it was peaceful and idyllic, and we would go back again in a heartbeat! Thank you, thank you!
Very unusual cottage. We absolutely loved it. All the western decorations were unique and refreshingly different from anywhere we have stayed before. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Such a unique beautiful find! We loved everything about the silos and would recommend them over and over again. Whenever we are back thru the Lynchburg area, we will be staying here again!
(So convenient. Close to Historical Lynchburg - winery, distilleries, shopping and restaurants)
This place was amazing!! The owner has thought of everything. You know they have put thought into every piece of decor and their guests when first step into the door. We would definitely come back. Highly recommend this place.
We had a wonderful time in a great place to stay! The hosts were so warm and inviting! They were also very accommodating! I highly recommend staying in this quaint VRBO if you are in the area! Thank you for a wonderful time!!
My husband and I celebrated our 13th anniversary in the âDukeâ at the silos and it was so cute! It was only 1 mile from the Jack Daniels distillery so that was perfect! I would definitely love to stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay at the Silos! Upon arrival we had a little treat and a card waiting for us as we walked in the door! The Silos are very unique and was a great place for us to stay!
We truly enjoyed!!
We really loved the Duke. It is perfect for a quick getaway with your spouse. The hosts were quick to respond and accommodating with a few small requests that we had. We plan on coming back the next time we need a weekend to ourselves.
Me and my wife just wanted to get away somewhere unique and this place was perfect. Itâs just the right place to relax. We will be back next time we go to lynchburg
Clean, relaxing, peaceful. Ms Kayla surprised us with an assortment of desserts our first night there. They were delicious. We met her husband briefly and he explained Kaylaâs vision for the property moving forward. We wish them success!
Last-minute decision to book the silos for our last night on our Tennessee trip. Was a great decision. The place is absolutely gorgeous. The host was available to immediately answer any questions or concerns. We enjoyed it so much. We would love to come back.
