Great aparthotel property which was very comfortable, good bed, bath amenities nice, windows open, small fridge, laundry on property, courtyard, friendly helpful staff, fun lively area with great variety of restaurants. Casual, felt very safe, free coffee all say in lobby, good transportation and cabs available. Excellent value centrally located to the main sights.

The room was spotless and even though it was in the heart of the city, it was very quiet. The front desk staff were great. Snehe(hope I have it correct) was so helpful and patient. She took the time to explain everything to us, have us some tips with the mao of the area about where things were and very patiently explained how to get to the train.

Overall, facility was pretty nice. The bed was a little bit uncomfortable and we’re pretty sure it gave us contact dermatitis. The plastic sheet they put over the mattress kept coming off and we did get some bumps/ almost like bug bits… on our upper back and neck. We were a little concerned they but they did go away after we left the hotel so it was definitely something with that bed, and room/ location.

Centrally located, lots of bars and restaurants around. A bit loud - with many young people singing together till midnight but added to the charm 😀 We had an apartment on the 8th floor and could sleep with our windows open on a Saturday night. Sunday night was quiet. One bedroom apartment was quite spacious.Front desk staff were helpful. Walkable - could walk to the old town and the funicular station. Property did not have parking but Parking Celestines is close and good well lit underground parking with spacious parking spots.

Great place to visit

Lyon is our new favorite place with this hotel being right where you want to be! Good public transportation to get anywhere you want. Most things we walked to anyway and had an abundance of great shopping and eating choices! Breakfast was very good and the staff treated us very nicely! Would come back!

Our studio room with kitchens was spacious. The only drawback is that it was the first floor and non air conditioned. Fine with the window open but stuffy at night when the window was closed to prevent street noise. Staff great , check in check out trouble free. Excellent location.

Superb hotel and office staff was one of the best I have experienced in ages. Very friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was excellent. I would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Lyon. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

We recently stayed for four nights in an apartment-style hotel in the heart of Old Lyon- Citadines Lyon. On the positive side, the location was excellent—quiet yet very convenient for exploring the historic center. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the price was fair given the location. Merci for being so kind and nice. However, the apartment itself left much to be desired. While functional, it was quite bland. The furnishings were extremely utilitarian, and the walls were bare—no artwork or even a simple photo of Lyon to give it some local character. For such a charming and vibrant city, the space felt surprisingly lifeless. Our room also had no view, which only added to the lack of atmosphere. The apartment seemed a bit worn and could benefit from a refresh to better reflect the spirit of the Historic Lyon. With a few thoughtful touches and some aesthetic improvements, this could be a much more memorable place to stay. As it stands, it’s comfortable enough, but don’t expect much in the way of charm.

I travelled with my husband and we found the small apartment just perfect for our needs for 4 nights. Efficient layout, cooking facilities were just right for a short stay, even had a small dishwasher! Excellent location in the heart of downtown Lyon, walking distance to Musee des Beaux-Arts, the riverside markets, excellent restaurants, Cathedral, Basilica, the historic section across the Saone, the more modern area across the Rhone...

Check in was a little bumpy. We were 4 single women in two rooms requesting single beds. They gave us 2 rooms with one bed and then we had a difficult time getting different rooms. They do not provide room service unless your stay is longer than 3 nights but they also didn’t provide extra coffee or toilet paper on request.
