We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and so did our pups. Everything was accurately described and very clean. The view is awesome and we had some beautiful sunsets. The porch/deck is a great place to hang out and watch the ducks and geese.

The property is appropriately named as the sunset's every day were spectacular. The layout of the house was great and everything we needed for cooking was available. The best part was that Rusty, my dog, loved the fenced in yard and his new lifejacket when we went out in the boat. It was a great place to stay and enjoy with the Granddaughters.

check in instructions were easy and timely. great presentation when we walked in. all beds had bath towels and wash clothes on them. extra blankets easy to find. “on contact” phone chargers everywhere! tv easy to navigate. communication thru the whole process was swift. yard was mowed. boat dock looks quite new. no splinters there! kitchen WELL STOCKED, and i even had an extra bag of ice in the freezer if i needed it. My only request would have been to have a full vacuum cleaner available. I would have vacuumed a few times. We had two dogs and they shed. I felt bad leaving all the hair behind. It was a truly great space and experience!

Amazing cozy weekend at the lake

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this property! It was a cold weekend so we made use of the fire pit and the wood provided. The rooms were all comfy and everyone had their own space, including 3 pack and plays! The sunset view was amazing and we are already talking about booking again in the summer!

We didn’t want to leave!

My family (myself, husband and 2 daughters age 5 and 8) stayed 4 nights in October. The property is just as pictured. The view of the lake is wonderful at all hours but the sunset is AMAZING! We really appreciated the little extra amenities - wireless phone chargers in the living room and bedroom, usb ports, toiletries in the shower, luxurious towels and a well stocked kitchen with all you need to cook meals. We spent lots of time on the back porch with the comfortable furniture and beautiful view. One thing to be aware of - the water is shallow so If you’re looking for a dock to jump from, this isn’t it. My daughters loved being able to stand in the water and play. We brought our boat but again the shallow water is a little challenging but doable.

Perfect Family Rental

My family loved this property. In addition to the ideal location, amazing sunsets, and huge porch, there is a well-stocked kitchen with a functional layout. The teens loved the paddle board and ping pong table. Lake location is ideal for swimming and docking jetskis. We encountered no need to call from the property, but the pre-stay communication with Suzy was excellent. We plan to return.

Absolutely Lovely Stay

Property was gorgeous and we had everything we could possibly need! The host was very clear with information and instructions. We loved the recommendation to go to the Waves restaurant. It was super fun. We were very happy that we were provided with all basic necessities including soaps, shampoos, and cleaning products. It was nice not to have to purchase all of that ourselves. The view of the lake was so relaxing and the house was impeccably clean. Can’t wait to find another weekend to come back again :)

Great face but the body doesn’t match

Loved the home experience. It was everything and more from the pictures to the description. Easy to find and most welcoming. At arrival and throughout the stay there were phone chargers a plenty, comfy blankets, great space and rooms, a wonderful kitchen, bbq pit with tanks of propane, fire pit for s’mores, lots and lots of outdoor seating, a sincere and absolute wonderful home experience. However, the lake experience wasn’t NEAR what the pictures showed. The water has receded so far back the dock is useless for swimming or water activities. To get to the lake was not a quick hop from the edge of the yard as the pictures suggest, but a 50yd walk to the waters edge, where the dock begins. As my son said, “it’s only a foot deep for 20yrds passed the dock so we can’t jump
” The pictures of the dock and the lake were the deciding factor of this pick and 6hr drive for a birthday weekend. The house over delivered but the main attraction underwhelmed.

Great for a group

We were here with friends and a toddler, and the property could not have been better for a weekend getaway from Dallas! The house is the perfect size for everyone to spread out and relax, it was clean and has everything you could possibly need for a lake vacation. The yard is such a great size to play around and having it fenced in perfect for kids or pets. And the view of the lake— you’d think you were miles away from city life with the gorgeous lake right outside the back door!

This house was perfect! Very spacious, great swimming for kids, kids loved the ping pong table, very clean and everything you needed for the perfect weekend.
