Terrible experience. This is my first public comment over 30 years of travel.
Extremely noisy elevator bell located right in front of the room (which is not mentionned upon booking).
Rambling noise starting a 4:30 am probably due to washing machines.
I do not bother commenting on the rest. A hotel which does not guarantee proper resting should not exist.
Avoid at all cost.
Very clean, friendly staff, decent continental
Breakfast, but If your room is characterized as a âcozy room, â be prepared to be in a very tiny room and you will likely bump your head a few times getting in and out of bed and in the bathroom and in the shower.
Very quaint and quiet. Great location across from bike rental. Very walkable. Nice porch overloooking the street. Breakfast included was mediocre. Choices were Minimal and institutional.
for what I paid $ 1,139 I was expecting bigger rooms phone , fridge , microwave , and breakfast was herbal never again will I stay there will not recommend .
Such a beautiful historic place to stay. Like walking back in time. So many places to sit and relax around the property inside and out. Gardens were gorgeous. Hot tub was huge clean and quiet. We enjoyed our stay so much.
Nice property, very convenient location and nice staff.
The whole island knows how to welcome tourists: very clean, very efficient, very welcoming and beautiful. We had a great weekend. Thanks to all workers of Mackinaw Island! Great place to visit.
The Inn on Mackinac was a very welcoming place. When we arrived in the morning chilly from the ferry we were told we were welcome to coffee and hot chocolate and to hang out in one of the common areas. That was unexpected and just what we needed. The continental breakfast was ample with a nice variety. The Inn is only a ten minute walk from the ferry and town. But it is quiet there. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the world go by. The room was very comfortable. I only wish I could have opened the window in the evening. I believe they were painted shut.
