We had an amazing experience at this vacation rental. The home was spotless, beautifully furnished, and exactly as described. We had such a wonderful time at Vista Pointe! The house was perfect for our vacation. We had 11 people, 4 adults and 7 kids from 17 down to 3, and there was plenty of space and activities for everyone. Jessie is a delight, so thoughtful and kind! We are already planning our stay for next year!

We had a wonderful stay! Jessie is a fantastic host who is very proud of the home she offers for vacation rentals. Her attention to detail makes sure that you are arriving to a very clean, very well stocked house. And the location is wonderful! Just show up with your clothes and let your vacation begin! Awesome water front home

Great place to vacation with family. Very spacious and clean with everything you need to enjoy the water. The host is very friendly and welcoming. We will be back for another say. I highly recommend this vacation rental you won't be disappointed.

AMAZING! The owner was very responsive and had everything we could need and more! The rooms were great sizes, beds super comfortable, plenty of kitchen items, bikes for all ages, ping pong, pool, fishing, swimming, kayaks! We did not have to leave for anything! We celebrated 3 birthday a 1 yr old, 2 yr old and a 7 yr old! Every age completely enjoyed their stay. We are ready to come back!

Fantastic

My family and my littles have been traveling to lake Gaston for over 5 years. We have stayed in different places every year- no longer. We have found the perfect place. 1. House- This place has everything - I mean everything. Where to start - the appliances, the games and toys, blankets, the gift basket, towels, floats - so so much more. - one of the littles was not feeling well- and - there was a digital thermometer in the house - So thankful for that thermometer. The house is beautiful decorated and very spacious. 2. Host - Jessie is fabulous- she takes care of everything - and is so sweet and a welcome basket with sweet treats and beautiful fresh flowers was waiting for us when we arrived. Jessie always had quick responses to any questions I had. 3. Dock- we just loved this area - it has a beach area where my little could run in and out of the water or play in the sand. Jumping off the top of the dock was a highlight for the adults. The paddle boat and the paddle board was loads of fun too. I could go on and on how fantastic this place was. So glad we found our place for next year and the next and so forth. Thank you Jessie - see you next year.❀

Awesome Vacation

The house and everything that goes with it was exactly how it’s listed. The host is extremely nice, very easy to communicate with, and made sure we had everything we needed including welcoming gifts!! The house had everything we needed to enjoy a week at the lake, all we had to pack was clothes. We will definitely be planning another vacation in this house!

Our family of 13 always go on a family vacation every year and this was our first time staying here and out of every place we have rented over the years this property was hands down our absolute favorite! Jessie was incredible! The house was amazing and so beautiful! She has everything you could possibly need for adults and kids! We had 5 kids with us ranging from 4-15 and they had the BEST time! If I could give it 10 stars I would! We will definitely be back and can't wait to experience it again!

Wonderful host and house!

This house is wonderful for a large group - plenty of seating areas, beautiful water access (including a shallower area for youngsters), and all the kitchen accessories you could ever need. Jessie was a very responsive host, and even had a personalized gift basket with so many fun things for our kiddos waiting for us. Will definitely be back!

Great Vacation at the Lake

We’ve stayed in quite few places on Lake Gaston and this is the best stocked rental lake house on the lake from kitchen, to floats, games, entertainment and more. Property owner/manager was beyond responsive and hospitable.

Vista Pointe - Excellent home!

Our family completely enjoyed out stay at Vista Pointe! Jessie is a wonderful hostess and left a lovely gift basket for us. It was especially made for us which was so thoughtful! Everything in the house was supplied - from the coffee bar in the kitchen to the kayaks to the towels and I could go on and on. We all had a blast!

Family time and Baby Reveal

Jessie is wonderful! Best host ever! We arrived to a welcome basket, fully stocked coffee bar, and house overlooking the main lake. The home is warm and comfortable with at least 5 carefully appointed conversation spots with cozy chairs and views. The kitchen has everything- even a charcuterie board. Our daughers live in DC and we live in FL so this is a perfect half way spot to catch up. We will be back over and over.

Vista Pointe is Perfection!

Vista Pointe is paradise — I would give a thousand stars if I could. It was such an amazing experience so it will be difficult to capture everything, but I’ll try to do it justice. First, I have to note that Jessie is by far the best host we have ever encountered. She goes to extraordinary lengths to ensure a special stay for her guests! She prepared a lovely gift basket and even put up some birthday decorations to help us celebrate. You can tell that she takes tremendous pride in the property— the decor is absolutely gorgeous and she provides modern/high quality amenities. She also offers a great coffee bar and all cooking essentials. The lake view from the house is spectacular. We spent hours on the deck reading, grilling, watching the boat traffic, and playing games. We explored the lake in the kayaks she provided and enjoyed music by the dock. Great jumping platform. At night we enjoyed sitting by the fire pit toasting marshmallows, then had fun playing pool and ping pong. Streaming was good too so we watched a few movies. The beds were very comfortable so we slept great. This was by far the nicest property we have stayed at and everything exceeded our expectations (not easy to do). It was hard to leave such a beautiful place! We definitely hope to return! Thank you Jessie for sharing your exceptional lake home with us - you are amazing!!!

Beautiful property

Jessie is AMAZING to work with, very personal and takes great care of her renters, I feel like she’s now apart of my family ! My family referred to her by name throughout our stay “not just the owner of the property” but calling her by name as if she was here with us! Beautiful decor, very clean, plenty of linen, comfy beds and cozy rooms plenty utensils etc., the location is an A plus. My family and I have stayed in lake gaston for the last 9 yrs and this was the very first time we were greeted with a gift basket and a personal welcome phone call!! Being in the customer service Industry myself this was the butter cream icing on the cake!!! We will be back! THANK YOU JESSIE !!! You are amazing!

Tranquility on the lake

We had the best experience imaginable! Jessie went above and beyond to ensure our stay at Old Ferry Estates was enjoyable. We were greeted by a lovely handwritten welcome note, fresh flowers & a gift basket which blew us away! The house accommodated our family perfectly and offered us an impeccable view/access of Lake Gaston. The owner (Jessie) has provided everything you could possibly require starting with a fully stocked kitchen (including all the basic necessities such as trash bags, soap, etc) bathroom essentials and even a first aid kit! The house is beautifully decorated offering a tranquil environment to sit back, relax and enjoy the lake view. The dock is situated on one of the deepest areas of the lake but offers a small but private Sandy beach area which appears safe if you have little ones in your family. Several kayaks, paddle board (tons of floats )along with life jackets in various sizes are available for use as well. I seriously can’t say enough good things about this rental other than we’ll be looking forward to our next years family vacation at Old Ferry Estates.

Unforgettable Memories

This was our annual family vacation (ages 6-75). Jessie is the best hostess we have ever come across. A fabulous welcome basket, a resource for the best local information, and immediate responses to all of our inquiries. Because of Jessie, we were able to make local connections that enhanced our trip, enabling us to make cherished memories. The house is beautiful, clean, spacious, and well stocked for your every need, especially the kitchen. Don’t be intimidated by the stairs to the lake. We had no problem getting up and down - kids and seniors alike. Our weather wasn’t the best, but the kids managed to swim and fish every day. When it rained we went to Warrenton to the Bragging Rooster where we played games and brought in dinner from George’s Restaurant. (Family Feud on the Wii was a blast.) We also turned the screened in porch into a “tea room” for the ladies while the men had lunch at the Hardware Store Cafe. Jessie had everything we needed for an elegant tea party. The neighborhood is perfect for long walks and bike rides (all sizes provided). Jenny Cakes at the Lake has yummy baked goods and check out Rosemont winery where the “champagne” is delicious. Our only regret is that we didn’t have more time at this beautiful vacation spot!

Exceeded Expectations

Our stay was amazing! The house had great views and amenities! The owner communicated very well and was available for anything we needed. Location on the lake is perfect and has great deep water at the end of the dock. Water is somewhat calm for the main lake which is great as well!
