Amazing rooms great continental breakfast and a complimentary drink best hotel stay I’ve had, driving to the hotel is confusing and stressful at times confusing road work around the hotel, I recommend not doing the valet and parking in a parking garage closest to the hotel

The room was clean and modern: well appointed. Service at the front desk was friendly, and the free breakfast was second to none - we especially liked the omelet bar. This is a great place to stay in downtown Madison!

The room and hotel were beautiful and well-appointed. The staff were rude! When we pulled up the valet was less than friendly - also they are their solely to park cars. they DO NOT help with bags. Then, Marshall, the person who checked us in, was so rude and unwelcoming. I don't think he smiled once. We were scolded in the bar area for bringing in outside food/beverages. Which when he explained - we got it, but... we had done the same thing the night prior and he was the bartender then too. So - an explanation would have been fine - no need to to scold us and treat us like we were idiots. The valet continued to be rude. We were scolded for not pulling ahead far enough when we dropped the car off. We explained that there was a car ahead of us when we pulled in. He told us we could go back out and move it ahead. The only people that smiled and were kind were the morning breakfast staff.
