Property is in commercial area and didn't feel safe. Building was locked and needed a code to get in the door. No staff onsite. Room seemed very nice but we didn't stay. Left to find another hotel option for the night.
Great staff, cute little place. Definitely not the Ritz but the price point can't be argued. You can tell they are trying - it was clean, safe and quiet.
The towels were filthy dirty. At 230 am till 430 am sat and Sunday morning people were in halls screaming slamming doors and so loud I could not sleep. Beyond terrible. There is nobody at desk.
Ignore the older reviews, this place has really turned around! The staff was nice and the room was clean. I plan on returning here next time my work sends me to Madison.
It seems like the hotel is just about to be torn down. Lots of construction projects across the street. The bus line to downtown Madison goes right past.
Worked well for my purpose of sleeping there and not spending much time in room. Bus stop is just across the street. Continental breakfast is fair with lots of pre packaged food. Hallways are loud with the laminated flooring. For the price on a football game weekend, it was worthwhile.
