The room was clean. Check-in staff member friendly and welcoming. Check out disappointing wasn’t even asked if our stay was enjoyable Would say this hotel is more a 4 star, the room - bed was ok, there was no coffee machine. 1st time I have stayed in a 5 star that hasn’t had one. Dressing gowns not great quality. The bar staff and turn down staff were friendly and professional.

This hotel is definitely not a 5 star hotel at best a very upscale Motel 8. The view was spectacular and the room was spotless. However, the sewage / mold smell mixed with a broken tv and no face towel left a bit to be desired based on I was truly expecting a 5 star experience.

Room was very clean and staff was very helpful and courteous. Our room overlooked Plaza Espana which was decorated for Christmas. The hotel had easy access and was within walking distance to very good resturants, Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, Real Palace de Madrid and other attractions. Had stayed here before. Will stay again in the future.

All was good…the hotel hall smelled of sewage but the room was large, modern, clean and did not smell. The location of the hotel is excellent and the staff very helpful.

We didn’t eat breakfast as it was pretty pricey. Concierge service was not great. Rooms were very nice and comfortable. Housekeeping was great. Ambience was very nice. Did not try the restaurants.
