The staff was kind, friendly , and attentive, the room was spacious and clean , and the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city, very close to subway, walking distance to major landmarks of Madrid . The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of delicious options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to Madridvisitors

The most negative part of this hotel is the shower, the water is either really hot or cold, I couldn't find the mid point with the temperature of the water in the shower. Other than that issue, the hotel has all the amenities and everything (touristy areas) is really close.

- front desk staff were welcoming - hotel is walking distance to many places - hotel is clean - AC is great - hotel has a good appearance - if you like to sleep on VERY VERY FIRM mattresses, then you will be ok. It wasn’t for us. - woke up to moving furniture almost every morning - I was able to hear the hallway conversations from my room very clearly, which it makes me think they were able to hear my conversations too - the bathroom soap bottles were empty upon our arrival - the bartender/server wasn’t too welcoming

Excellent second stay at Hotel Ganivet, perfect location and everything within walking distance. The hotel pool is an added bonus after a long day sightseeing. Transport is close by and very easy to use. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is plentiful and a great start to the day.

Location was great! Walkable distance from the main spots in the centre. Even though there was a festival going on outside, the room itself was quiet and we weren’t disturbed by the festivities outside. Staff was really nice and accommodating. The pool is a little small but the area on the roof terrace was nice and quiet, and a great place to sunbathe or cool down from the heat. Aircon was also a great feature!

Excellent hotel walking distance from the main centre & metro & bus links nearby. We had a terrace top floor (additional nominal cost) was bigger than our room . Could have sun loungers & hot tubs on them it was so big. Pool was small but a large terrace that you could sit. Spoilt by kids trying to use as a swimming pool as it was so hot. Who brings kids to a major city for holidays. We ended up sitting on our terrace to get peace & quiet. Staff very helpful breakfast was good . Would go back & get a terrace 😁

Excellent service provided

Comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast. Our showerhead was broken, making it difficult to shower. However, the hotel location and front desk reception were excellent and very accommodating. They made us feel welcome. I will consider staying there again.
