We stayed in the presidential suite, and it was unbelievable! The two balconies had the best views of the city, and it was spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff and service were absolutely outstanding.

I booked and paid for a larger room with a terrace/patio and I was very grateful for this. My room was wonderful. It was large, clean and very comfortable with incredible views across Madrid. I ordered room service and it was both very tasty and warm when it arrived. It also arrived with very good presentation, in packaging that is sustainable and quite promptly. I do have to comment on the pool. It’s more of an oversized bathtub, it was not relative for the size of the property or the demand. It was over crowded and was not able to handle the population that had gathered by it. After one look, I avoided it. There are many other relaxing outdoor options where you can relax and get some sun. And then there is also the rooftop bar, with stunning views and many options to eat and drink. I would stay again. The staff were helpful and very kind and the location is easily accessible to many attractions in the City.

The best hotel ever. The check-in process made us feel like kings. All the staff couldn't be nicer, especially Nicholas from the front desk. Amazing and beautiful hotel.

A little disappointing

Nice hotel in good location with rooms that look lovely in the photos but VERY cheap furniture and fixtures, so a little disappointing for the price you pay. I would have given a higher rating if after complaining for my room not being cleaned one day, I hadn’t been given the smallest box of chocolates I’ve ever seen as an apology - 45g to be precise. I found that rather insulting.

The staff were condescending and outright rude, they wouldnt even put icecubes in our water during the heatwave as ice is for "paying drinks only" door staff treat you like scum, very poor service considering the price we paid to stay.

This is THE hotel we stay at in Madrid when my wife and I visit Madrid. The hotel is centrally located at the end of La Gran Via and across Plaza de España. Walkable to restaurants, shopping, and of course La Puerta del Sol and La Plaza Mayor.

Poor customer service but good location

The location of the hotel is perfect and the room was nice, clean and comfortable. There was plenty of choice at breakfast too. Unfortunately the customer service is lacking (apart from the breakfast team). We asked for a spoon to be delivered to our room and were told this was not a service offered and to go to the bar on the 26th floor. This was a similar story around the pool where we told off for taking a drink from the room, because you must buy from the bar. 8 Euro for a slush from the bar btw (a soft drink let that sink in total and utter rip off). The pictures of the pool on the website are deceiving. It is not the big pool you see, it is basically a tiny ice cold plunge pool which is always absolutely crowded. Overall the hotel is fine, but is super expensive, is lacking in customer service and the pool area is not as good as it may appear online.
