Great location, friendly staff, clean hotel, but exceptionally noisy. It is not far from the police station and sirens are frequent. We stayed here in November when the air conditioning was turned off (as is standard in many European countries) so we could not sleep with the window closed as it was too hot. We could not sleep with the window open as it was too noisy so we did not sleep much at all. The hotel was kind and comped our upgrade costs, but I would not stay here again unfortunately.

Wonderful staff, caring and attentive. Special thanks to Tania. I needed help printing special documents and she was a great help. Rooms are big enough. With all the necessary amenities. Always a security person in the lobby. Makes you feel as save as one can be in the center of Madrid. Excellent location. Close to everything.

A beautiful somewhat upscale hotel located near the train station and across the street from El Prado. Room is quite comfortable. It is located on a very busy street so there is some traffic noise, though it subsided by late evening. I did not try breakfast buffet. Dinner restaurant is a Tapas Bar, but if you want a conventional restaurant there are dozens nearby of all types (quick serve to full serve). Room had both a hot water maker and a coffee maker, which was nice. I stayed at another hotel near the station at the start of my trip and at this hotel at the end of my trip and preferred this one. I would stay here again.
