The hosts were wonderful. Everything we wouldâve needed was there. They left treats for us for the animals and we even got to meet one of their dogs. Cabin was very clean, well stocked and really cute. Would definitely stay there again!
This was a wonderful house to stay in. The kitchen was stocked with almost anything you could imagine to cook with. The refrigerator was big and included condiments. The bathroom was stocked with everything you need including a washer and dryer. The beds were very comfortable. As a matter of fact I would love to know what brand the pillows were. My neck loved them.
We had a wonderful stay, the property had everything we needed and then some! All the small things added up. S'mores kit, free firewood, all the utensils for home cooking, laundry detergent and more! Beautiful property.
We had a blast! The cabin was awesome, clean and met all our needs. My husband and I had the king room and the bed was very comfortable. We loved being able to pet and feed snacks to the animals. Boots, the cat, was the star of the show though. He checked on us every night while we sat around the fire. What a sweet cat! And the free firewood was an added bonus! The host was super friendly and answered all our questions quickly. We highly recommend this place and would come again.
Trail Boss cabin was a great place to stay, my wife, kids and I had a great time during our 3 day stay there. We spent the days exploring caves and were able to come back to a very relaxed environment on the farm. My kids enjoyed feeding and petting the goats and horses just steps from the cabinâs back door. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!
This was a beautiful place to explore the Mammoth Cave area. There are numerous touches that made it feel more like home - cozy reading area, games, a s'mores tray, cocoa packets, sights and scents. The cabins rooms were cozy and welcoming after our days in the caves. Super easy check in and check out. So well appointed that we didn't need to reach out.
We picked this location for it's proximity to Mammoth Cave, and fishing. We also spent one of the days just lounging around playing games, visiting the horses, and finding four leaf clovers. My kids also found a frog and a newt on the property!
Peaceful and cozy place to stay with close access to Nolan Lake State Park and Mammoth Cave national Park. This place had everything we needed and the host were super responsive and helpful.
Beautiful property. Amazing Kentucky sunsets. A perfect sport for our family to have our summer vacation. The Trailboss Cabin was perfect for us. Enjoyed the goats and chickens and horses.
This property is exactly as described, plus more!! Beautiful, peaceful, comfortable (I could go on!) setting. If we venture back to this area, we will definitely (100% positive) stay here!! Not listed on the description was a Keurig...just one of the many bonuses!! Thank you for an amazing 5 days!!
One of the best vacation stays weâve ever had! The cabin is so clean, cute and cozy and it passed my 14 year olds âvibeâ check, so that has to count for something! My son thought his bed was the most comfortable bed heâs ever slept in! Our host was so kind too! She took the time to introduce us to all of her animals and left us treats to give them each day. We would 100% stay here again!
The property was very enjoyable and very clean. The kitchen was very well supplied. We were a bit further from Mammoth Cave but it wasn't a bother. The farm atmosphere was so enjoyable that the extra distance didn't matter. My teens and my dogs thoroughly enjoyed their stay.
OUTSTANDING host, most comfy beds ever, and amazing view
I cannot speak highly enough about the care, concern, and hospitality that Kristen provided our whole family, even prior to checking into the property. Kristen answered all of my questions ahead of time, and then when we had a last minute emergency (delaying our arrival and possibly needing us to have our kids stay at the cabin solo), she immediately asked how she could help us.
The cabin itself is perfection. The beds are perhaps the most comfortable that I've slept in through a VRBO rental. There is plenty of space for the family to lounge while enjoying the scenes of the farm. My kids loved waking up and helping feed the animals (and trying to name some of them), and we were even spoiled with fresh eggs for breakfast! This is more than just a place to sleep!
Also, when the ferry is open, it's only a 20 minute drive into the national park. This makes it super convenient to get to and from the park during the day. My kids have already said that they want to return to here as part of a "new tradition".
