Location was excellent, very dated decor and the refrigerator sounds like a jet engine and it was hard to get a good nights sleep with the sound. Bed is VERY hard, and bathroom fan was super loud. If you want a great location then this a a great place but the unit needs many upgrades to make it more comfortable.
Condo was as advertised. As stated, itâs very dated, but as such has a great retro feel. Perfect location, easy underground parking and quiet while we were there.
Perfect location proximate to dining, village shops/activities, and everything else around Mammoth Lakes. Fridge can buzz a little - just open and close the door or give it a nudge and the motor gets quieter. Off street parking is a huge plus.
Never staying at a Vacasa property again! These emails saying the room wonât be clean are ridiculous! Then you call and they treat you like some scammer. Donât email me saying thereâs no power and room wonât be clean without a pre-authorized refund. Also look at the pictures of the stove, good luck trying to cook eggs on that. check Reddit, VACASA rentals have a repeated history of playing games, bait and switching, and notifying you the day before of major issues without a solution.
For some reason, I've always had an issue with their hot water system. Last time I went to Tahoe, we rented a Vacasa property and it was the same issue.
Good experience on the other hand.
No frills place to stay but excellent location walking distance to the village and gondola to Canyon. The unit itself is old and outdated (the pictures are accurate) but it was clean. Checkin slightly complicated because took a while to find the actual unit. The covered garage was awesome. The actual facilities including the indoor spa was amazing.
Call of the closest condos available at the bottom of the village gondola with lots of restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, the check in instructions did not list the correct condo door access number. Fortunately, after 15 minutes of trying every variation of the code provided, the manager happen by and gave us the correct code. There were no sheets for the convertible sofa and I called it in, but it took two days for them to arrive.
This unit was surprisingly clean for how dated the decor was. Thereâs a functional wood-burning stove, the heaters worked really well and were really quick. We kind of enjoyed feeling like we were back in the late 70s. The only downside of this unit is that the mattresses are definitely in need of an upgrade. I wish they would just get an inexpensive pillow top to make sleep comfortable. Best part of this unit is its close location to the village and the canyon gondola And the indoor parking was lovely.
As soon as i arrived, my truck did not leave the parking structure. Eveything was ealking distance (village gondola, restauraunts and bars). Will be staying here again
Location, parking garage, pool/ Jaccuzzi/ rec room all great. Beds not so good! Appliances old. No TV in bedroom and instructions for TV w/ 3 remotes no where to be found. Resetting front door for easy code didnât work and phone assistance took 1/2 hour to tell me not to reset the code. Lame and frustrating.
Location for price was excellent
The condo is as advertised. Great location, nearby ski lifts (although visit was in summertime 9/5/23-9/8/23 ). Quaint, but comfortable. Inside is dated (seems stuck in 70s). Drapes to balcony would not open (cord need fixing...). Garaged and secure parking. Great value overall. will consider a return stay.
The mattress, appliances and decor all appear to be original 1960s equipment. I was afraid of turning on the oven and the age of the mattresses was also scary. Location is the only thing this place has going for it. In fact we had to buy our own wine glasses and corkscrew.
All good, the only hickup was accessing the garage. We could not get a hold of the property manager, Vacasa. Place was clean which is very important during a pandemic. .. and plenty of wood for those who love seating by the fireplace!
