Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. The beds are really broken down old and saggy. But location is outstanding. You can sit in the Jacuzzi and see the ski mountain as a sunsets.

From felt neglected. Dirty and old. Popcorn ceilings. Stains and dirt and grime on walls, blankets and furniture. Room had a unbearable heavy odor. Staff was short and dismissed feedback. Book for two days but checked out a day early. It needs TLC. I would recommend the LimeLight Mammoth instead. It was clean, comfortable and convenient as well. free breakfast was great!

Location is good and staff are great. But the hotel is completely run down and falling apart. Heater didn’t work. So we had to actually sleep with jackets on us!. Restaurant upstairs in the main building didnt have much of good options. Just basics. Bar was missing some of their beers that was on the menu. Overall wouldn't go back

The room was very dated. The worst part about it was the heater - it made terrible noise and barely produced heat. It is winter now (late January), so we needed it to work. However, getting a good night's sleep was not possible. The bathroom was also pretty old - the shower/tub switch was very difficult to use. If you are staying there in the summer and it is hot (at least in this room) - there is no A/C, heater only. The ski-in/out part is also overstated - it is definitely close to slopes (short walk), but the closest you can get to is the parking lot, from which you will need to walk 5-10 minutes, depending on which "wing" of the hotel you are staying you are staying in.
