Weekend stay

The room was ok but bathroom had a strong stench to it. Couldn't sleep as the mattress was too soft. Only there for one night so didn't find it worth complaining. Breakfast was so busy as two coaches has arrived the night before.

Our stay was fine and as expected. One thing stood out and that was the size of the breakfast buffet plate, it is tiny. Food was ok but the plate size is the smallest I'd ever experienced. Yes i know i can go back up and get more but who wants to keep doing that? And no, I'm not a manatee, I'm 80kg, 6'0 tall.

Seems like the property was billed as having an airport shuttle, but it did not. The taxi that took me 1 mile to my hotel cost 20 pounds (something I hadn't factored into my budget). Then to get back to the airport was another 14 pounds. I think next time I will be staying at the IBIS, which is right across the street from the terminal.
