We are excited to welcome you to Mechanica, a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment, located in Ancoats. The property features a stylish open-plan layout combining kitchen, dining, and living spaces, with modern appliances and thoughtful touches throughout. This apartment sleeps up to 4 guests.
KITCHEN & DINING AREA
The well-appointed kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. It features a fridge freezer, oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher, induction hob, Nespresso machine, kettle, and toaster. We also offer complimentary Nespresso capsules, tea, coffee, sugar, milk sachets, oil, and salt & pepper. There is a four-seater dining table perfect for enjoying a meal together with family and friends. This space also offers an excellent workspace for those travelling on business, with free high-speed WiFi keeping you connected.
BEDROOM
There is one king-size bedroom, fitted with blackout curtains and a roomy double wardrobe, giving you everything you need for a restful night's sleep.
BATHROOM
The bathroom features a walk-in shower. We provide bath towels and hand towels, as well as complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap.
LIVING AREA
The open-plan living area is designed for both relaxing and socialising, with a comfortable sofa and a 55-inch smart TV offering access to Netflix and Amazon Prime. The space flows naturally into the kitchen and dining areas, creating a welcoming environment to come back to after a day in the city.

The sofa can be converted into a comfortable double sofa-bed. Depending on the booked number of guests on your reservation, you may need to contact our customer service team who are on-hand to arrange a sofa bed set-up, where additional charges may apply. Mechanica is located in Manchester's city centre district of Ancoats, placing you within easy reach of some of the city's most exciting neighbourhoods and destinations. The Northern Quarter - known for its independent shops, creative venues, and buzzing bar scene - is just 500 m away. Manchester Victoria Station is 1.2 km away, Manchester Arena 1.5 km, Piccadilly Gardens 1.3 km, Manchester Art Gallery 2 km, Etihad Stadium 2.5 km, and Deansgate 2.5 km. There is a public car park located next to the property, should you be travelling by car.
Complimentary amenities
To help make your stay as comfortable as possible, we provide a welcome supply of the following on a one-time basis: Nespresso capsules, tea, coffee, sugar, milk sachets, oil, and salt & pepper, along with toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. Your cleaning box includes washing up liquid, a dishwasher tablet, a washing machine capsule, a sponge, a dish cloth, and bin liners.
Please note these items are provided as a one-time courtesy and will not be replenished during your stay.

Upon booking with us, you will receive access to your personalised Guest Pass. The Guest Pass is powered by Enso Connect – an Airbnb trusted partner. Here you will receive your check-in instructions, Wi-Fi details, local recommendations (& exclusive discounts!) and much more. You will receive a link to your Guest Pass in your booking confirmation message.
In order to protect both the property and you, our valued guest, you must complete either a mandatory deposit authorisation hold of £250 or a £30.00 non-refundable damage waiver (Please note that the Damage Waiver option is not available for bookings placed within 24 hours of check-in, or for stays of 28+ days or more). This can be done on a card of your choosing via the Guest Pass. If you select the deposit authorisation hold, no monies are taken from your card unless damages are caused during your stay, or additional fees are incurred. This may be for things such as late check-out, undeclared guests, and/or extra nights. The deposit authorisation hold is usually released with 1 working day of check-out.
Kindly ensure that your Guest Pass verification and deposit authorisation hold are complete prior to your check-in, as you will not be able to access the apartments until this is complete.

Please note we do not manage the building and cannot be held responsible for any maintenance issues in building communal areas. There is no elevator! You will be required to walk up the stairs to the first floor to access the apartment. We ask our guests to kindly respect our neighbours. We also encourage you to read our house rules for full transparency of our terms & conditions prior to booking - these can be found on our website. By booking your stay, you agree to abide to our terms & conditions.
