Lovely stay at the Townhouse one of the best places in Manchester. Clean and tidy room, quiet Will plan to stay there again Only issue light shining under room door which distracted at night no other issues otherwise

First and last time staying here. Queued on arrival to check in, got to the 4th floor to find key cards not programmed correctly. Room was a good size but I didn’t want to walk around bare foot, such was the state of the carpet. TV wasn’t very good. Bed was ok. Shower cubicle was tiny and water pressure poor. Dinner was anomaly dreadful and breakfast not much better. Staff were all very pleasant but the hotel is obviously understaffed. Barman doubled as the waiter, receptionist also doing the bar when there was nobody there. Finally, charging £6.45 for Guiness from a can in the bar seems excessive. In a street where there are a dozen other hotels, this place needs to do a lot better.

Very convenient location. Bit pricey though, especially the breakfast. Would recommend just buy some breakfast from China Town nearby. Room really quite old but quite clean. Shower was strong and that is very important for me.

Location is great. It's right at the centre. But the room and bathroom are a bit dated. Card key didn't work. A little noisy at night if your room faces the back alley. Staff was quite friendly though.

It was a good value overnight stay in the city centre. The only letdown was the noise from the road and the pub opposite which wasn't good when you're trying to sleep. We would ask for a different room if we stayed again. Room 106. But otherwise we couldn't fault it.
