The Grand Westside Manila Bay is overall an 8/10. There is plenty to be happy with, like the dry sauna and steam room plus the big swimming pool. The staff were all quite friendly and they make sure to have you feeling like someone special. The only real downside is the smell of mildew in the hotel, and the the bathroom drainage gets clogged easily so you might end up with water everywhere. I would stay again if the prices do not get outrageous.

Helpful and friendly staff, bed options lacking

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The only concern I had was the accommodation - 2 twin beds for 3 adults. I wish there was an option for Queen or double beds as 2 adults on a twin bed was not comfortable. Also, sales people for condo units in the lobby was very pushy.

It is a small room but for its price, it is worth the stay. It is located near Solaire and Okada which is a prime area. It has good amenities and hotel staff are friendly.

We stayed one night at this hotel. The room was spacious but it smelled musty and damp. The breakfast selection was good but the setting was dirty. The staff at the front desk was not friendly. The worst part was that they charged airport transportation even though they listed “FREE” on Expedia. They blamed on Expedia for misleading the customers. Definitely will not come back.

We were there 2 nights on a weekend. Nice high-ceiling, eye-catching decor, respectful, accommodating, and professional staff, delicious and well-presented food whether their hot buffet breakfast, or La Meza, 6 of elevators in south tower, lots of night time activities, seem to have an efficient security at the entrance driveway, love the K-9. There was just that sales person/kiosk, I think we’ve received 3 flyers from. Massage is still in-room, and they do not have all the services available yet. So if you plan to use their sauna. Either you do it before or after your massage. Pricing was awesome. We are going back in a few days :)

Modern but the rooms are small for what you pay. There's not much room to move in.the rooms and theres a TV but not a Smart TV. A safe tea & coffee-making facilities, a hair dryer and a small hrd uncomfortable sofa. Beds are ok. Bathroom is also small and there is no shower screens just a horrible ahower curtain. The water pressure is below average Theres a large putdoor pool and cold water spa and a pool bar, but not a swimup bar. Its about 1km walk to a shopping mall. The hotel is modern

I liked the security of the hotel, and I liked the comfortable bed and pillows. I disliked that the AC unit seemed to stop running in the middle of the night. I disliked that when I attempted to order a room service ham & cheese sandwich and french fries at 1 a.m., I was told they were busy and it would take 90 minutes.

No iron in the room and no hotel info in the room. If you had a question with regards to laundry, facilities, breakfast times, courtesy transfer to airport etc - you had to constantly ask at the front desk which quite often had queues. Over the weekend they are incredibly busy and the numbers within the hotel seem to triple. This meant we had to wait in a long line for a table at breakfast and then they had "run out" of some items like bacon and pancakes. Couldn't fault staff - they were always super helpful and polite and very professional at all times. The music in the pool area is very loud. Would be nicer to have it at a level where it is just background noise and not so loud. Not sure if it was the level we were on, but we had the constant smell of fresh paint in the corridor and in our room. Pillows are too big and hard. They gave me a sore neck and headache. Seems like a small thing but when you stay for 4 nights, it becomes an issue. Overall our stay was pleasant enough. Good location to walk to shops and Okada hotel for extra restaurants.
