Everything was lovely, I only downgraded my overall rating for lack of storage space for our clothing and such. We stayed 4 nights. The futon couch became our dresser.Water was hot, toilet flushed well, fridge was cold, bed was comfy, the lake was beautiful. Plenty of food options in Manistique.

Cozy little cabin, adjacent to a beautiful lake. Close to a major town and lots to do things. Was a quit peaceful stay. Very recommended!

I recommend investing in some upgrades.

We did not spend much time other than to sleep there. The cabin is small but decorated cute. The bed is horrible and needs replaced. Two average sized people cannot comfortably sleep in the bed and is up against a wall. The futon is not comfortable either. I would also not recommend staying there when temperatures are warm/hot. No air conditioning makes it quite miserable, even with fans. There is a dresser, but it is full of supplies and no place to put anything. The wiring is either old or not done correctly as you couldn’t run the microwave if you had a space heater on
we tripped the breaker. Thank goodness hubby found the breaker box. Definitely not big enough for 6 people unless it’s one adult and 5 young children. The literally hundreds of labels on everything was a bit overkill, as I know how to raise and lower a window blind.

Very clean, well stocked with everything you need. Decorated very cute. I would try to make clear this has no bedrooms and the daybed and futon are too small for two adults. Not sure how it would work to sleep 5 unless small children. I would also mention no heater on very cold nights. Thank goodness for space heaters provided. There is no space for unpacking clothes. 5 people with suitcases would be difficult. Everything said, we had a good time and enjoyed ourselves.

My family and I stayed at Birch Breeze over the weekend. Some of the pros of this cabin would be location, cleanliness, value, and comfort. I am very picky about cleanliness and this cabin, especially the bathroom was very clean. We were not able to enjoy the actual location of the cabin because we were constantly on the go visiting sites, like kitch iti kipi, which is only like 10 minutes away! so we truly just used it to sleep. The beds were comfortable. I would say it’s a little small for 5 people but it’s manageable, especially for the price. The only cons, which aren’t even cons, would be that it is quite small, there were a lot of chairs which took up potential space, and we arrived late at night the first night and it was very difficult to find the cabin because there were no lights anywhere. Not sure if I missed a map layout of the location but a map of the cabins would have been helpful prior to arriving. Would definitely stay again though! Thanks!

Lake, sunsets, God's creation, birds chirping, clean, well equiped, comfortable, quiet, Big Spring, Three Seasons Cafe EXCELLENT! Negatives: 1) No sign up at entrance as instructed. Back and forth several times. Finally asked man out walking. 2) No mattress on bed, only soft foam. Kept hitting heads on bunk over double bed. OVERALL: GREAT! THANKS!

A great place to stay

We had a near-perfect week on Indian lake. Very good location to see the best spots in the UP. Perfect weather. Very quiet in September. Well equipped kitchen. Nice remodel on the bathroom. Well supplied with necessities and well labelled. The screened-in porch was nice, even though not necessary in Sept- virtually no bugs.

Week Away

Great spot for a summer "get away" from the city. The cabin is equipped with everything you need and located on a nice lake where you can swim, float, kayak and enjoy beautiful sunsets. It's also not far from from popular tourist attractions. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Indian Lake. Our little log cabin was quiet and relaxing, just what we wanted. And the property managers and housekeepers were so kind and attentive! We would stay with them again in a minute!

Great communication

Just right for our family. GREAT: Loved how everything was labeled. Communication was A+. Beautiful sunset right in front of us! Lots of bedding. Not as great: Having slept on the bottom bunk, I do recommend you respect the top bunk weight limit! Turn by turn directions in email take you to cottage 3, if you have a copilot directing you, make sure you end up at correct cottage. As you can see, we had nothing really to complain about!
