We recently stayed at this property and, while the location is nice and tucked away at the end of a quiet road, the overall experience was disappointing—especially for the price.The main house was decent, but all bedroom A/C vents were closed, making it uncomfortable. More concerning, the guest house A/C was not working at all. I specifically booked this property for the extra space during a two-day work conference in the Manor area, so this was a major issue.An A/C technician didn’t arrive until around 7 PM on check-in day, and we were expected to accommodate him until after midnight. That should not have been our responsibility, especially while traveling for work. A portable unit was provided but was not sufficient for the space.The pool was dirty upon arrival, and the hot tub was murky and smelled like mildew. Although someone came the next day to address it, I was at work and unable to use the amenities.It also appeared cleaning was happening just an hour before check-in, which likely contributed to these issues.While the host was responsive, it doesn’t make up for the inconvenience. Overall, I expected a smoother, more prepared experience and left disappointed.
