We really liked the location and the unit. Weâll be back. It would be good to note that this is a top floor unit and the entrance door is not clearly marked. The booking details should include more info about how to access the unit. Also, there was no hair dryer.
We enjoyed watching the surf from the dining room and living room! Kitchen was well equipped to stay in and cook. We spent a ton of hours sitting at the table playing cards/games. The location was convenient to town and beach!
Overall, this was the perfect spot for our trip to the coast. It was walkable to all of Manzanitaâs amenities and the views were incredible. The home could use a deep clean - dusty, some moldy spots in tub/shower, previous guests hair on the towels. These were our only complaints. Otherwise it had everything we needed and was a great location.
Beautiful home ! We appreciated the very nice and well stocked (pots and pans) kitchen. Very conveniently located near the downtown area. Very comfortable and very well thought out vacation home. Thank you!
Great location, easy access to beach and downtown area.
Stairs are numerous and can be challenging if your older.
Furnishings are adequate for a stay at the beach but they have been well lived in!
Nice property, easy walk to businesses. Dog friendly was a must and this place was great. Little backyard up the hill was perfect for quick doggie outings.
Two of the bedrooms are adjacent such that you need to walk from the outer bedroom through the inner one to get to the bathroom (or go outside and walk the wrap around deck). Something to consider if you plan on needing all 3 bedrooms for sleeping. (We didn't so it was fine).
Would totally stay here again.
Incorrect instructions on how to enter property and location of lock box.
Front door up one set of stairs on left side of building and lock box mislabeled, It's not the top one but bottom one?
Master bedroom slider jammed closed. We got it opened a little the second day, but there's no screen. None of the windows open in this room. It's the only ventilation it has. We couldn't leave it open without the screen because a family of racoons had eaten through the screen in the kitchen and entered to eat our dog food so we couldn't sleep with a screenless slider open.
The oven didn't work properly. It doesn't hold the temperature and it would lock at random times. This ruined our first night's dinner.
It deserves 5 stars for location and access to the beach, but the deferred maintenance should be considered.
Overall, this was a great stay. We enjoyed the location, very walkable to town and close to beach. Views were amazing. Kitchen was well-equipped, with adequate dish soap, paper towels, seasoning, cooking utensils, etc. as well as basic toiletries. Plenty of space in the front t room and the dining room as well as plenty of seating on the deck.
The stay could have been enhanced with use of the garage. There was no place to store bikes or surfboards. You would need to cart them up several flights of stairs to get them into the back patio area. Some things could also be updated like the comforters, the main bath. Also the dining room and outdoor chairs/table were really worn. But the views and location were really why we were there!
The view and location were wonderful the only negative I have is it got very hot. Very close to the beach it had a lot of room and very large open kitchen.
This was an awesome house - spacious and perfectly laid out for 2 families and a toddler. The views of the ocean and sunsets and, unexpectedly, the weather were spectacular. The house was exceptionally clean and had a well-provisioned kitchen. Our only challenge was that we arrived in the dark with no exterior lights on. There was an obvious entrance off the front deck, but one lock was stuck, and locating the correct entrance described in the instructions was confusing in the dark. A call to Vacasaâs after-hours number was unhelpful. The local Manzanita office, however, was exceptionally helpful during our stay! The Manzanita office gets 5 stars!
We only recently discovered Manzanita and now it is our favorite place on the north Oregon coast. This property has lots of room, and is nicely situated close to the beach and downtown.
There are lots of stairs to climb, but other than that, we would definately come back.
We did love this place for a weekend with family. The views are great, Manzanita is a charming town with thankfully gluten free options at restaurants, and we loved spreading out around the house. But, a call from the management a few hours before our arrival told us the washer was out. After a week on the road, it would have been nice to do some wash. But more annoying was the main bathroom toilet that kept running. We kept the lid off and fidgeted with the tank after every flush, but I can't believe the cleaners didn't catch this before we came. Hopefully these will all be resolved before the next group comes. We would book this place again as this is really a one-off problem.
We had a great time at this property, just a short stay for our elopement. But check-in and out was easy, it added no extra stress! Also had everything we needed to get by for a few days!
We loved our visit to Manzanita and our stay at MANZANITA MAGIC. Except for being on the third floor everything about our stay was wonderful.
We were in Manzanita for a family wedding. The house was a short walk from the wedding location. It was so nice to be a short distance from the festivities.
Our family had a fantastic time staying in the Manzanita Magic condo. The views were absolutely beautiful! The accommodations were nice, plenty of room for a party of 7. We all got our workouts in climbing the three flights of stairs multiple times per day. Close access to beach and short walk to town.
This was a great fit for our family and they were welcoming of our dog. The view was fantastic and across the street from the beach access. The furnishings and appliances were as photographed.
