The location is excellent — right on the ocean with beautiful water views. The waterfront setting is definitely the highlight of the property. The on-site restaurant overlooking the water was very nice and made for an enjoyable dining experience. All of the staff members we encountered were friendly and welcoming. It’s also convenient that the 7 Mile Bridge is within walking distance. However, there were a few drawbacks. The ocean area had an unpleasant smell at times, which affected the outdoor experience. Unfortunately, the pillows in our room also had an odor, which was disappointing. The breakfast was significantly inferior compared to the Hampton Inn we stayed at prior to this resort. In addition, we were surprised by the resort fee and parking fee, which added unexpected costs to the stay. In summary, the location and staff were strong positives, but the additional fees and room comfort issues made the overall experience just average.

Room was OK but not very clean. Hotel is nice with good amenities. My main concern was about breakfast as Expedia said that the breakfast is included but in the hotel we got breakfast coupon for each day worth $50, which was not enough for our family. Also, all beverages except coffee were not included.

As a long time Marriott loyalist, we were more than just a little disappointed with this visit. Room booked was to be "Deluxe with view" The view was the parking lot. When asked for a change , we got a room 2 doors down the hall , on same side and another "view of the parking lot" .Housekeeping was non-exisient and after asking front desk----no response. Bar service pool side was terrible-as we were the only ones there and "ignored" --plan is to write Marriott with an official complaint---won't be visiting this location again....................UGH

Pros: Room and resort were very clean. The pools and amenities were great! Would definitely stay here again. Cons: the pillows are awful! The staff really push charging things on the room, which is very easy, but the end receipt isn’t itemized, so be sure to save your receipts.

We are boaters, and having the Faro marina so close to the rooms made our choice the perfect stay. Everthing was very clean and a choice of pools, bars and restaurants makes this place a "let's go back" preference.

The welcome desk and bistro workers were very polite. The cleaning crew did a wonderful job daily. The neutral review is left because the fire alarm went off twice during our 5 night stay. Once in the middle of the night and once early am. The single elevator also broke down on two separate occasions. Last the showers never were very hot. Peak times did not matter, the valve always had to be on the hottest temperature setting to sneak in a 5 min shower. I would stay again though. Beautiful facility with nice amenities.
