Good service at reception, no issues there. Room was cold when we arrived, it could have been warmed up using the air con, it took an hour for the room to warm up. There were 2 of us staying but only one towel, which had holes in. Could have done with an extra pillow but there were no extras in the room. Definitely stay there again, it’s really convenient for the local amenities and is suitably priced. A good stay, which could be a great stay, if a little bit more thought had been given to us, as guests.

Rooms floor dusty and dirty and bathroom dirty and tired. I will never return paint chipped missing off doors carpet water damaged food foul, bacon sour, milk off, bread stale. staff unfriendly. Bar in darkness, odd place. Don't bother stay elsewhere shocking place. Hotel needs massive upgrade and investment friendly staff and new energy injecting

2nd floor room Room was tired, aircon unit in ceiling was damaged. Water stains in ceiling tiles. Bathroom could have been cleaner, stains in toilet etc. Generally comfortable and as tidy as the decoration allowed. Food was good and breakfast good selection.

Room booked into online was twin doubles in the cottage. When checked in was told now in Redhead suite. Very large lounge area with 1 bed in and separate bedroom with other. New carpet but a few scuff marks on walls and a couple of tatty edges to windows but it’s not rated as 5 star. Decent buffet breakfast and staff were good.

It was so run down and filthy!! Tiles on the ceiling hanging down in the bedroom, cobwebs in the room and the previous person hairs all over the bath. It was that bad we booked another room somewhere else!! All staff apart from a young lad were rude, aggressive and verbally abusive when asked for a refund. No pool, sauna ect like stated. AVOID AVOID AVOID

The bathroom radiator did not work, so it was really cold in there and there was black mould on the soap dispenser and bath trim. Bathroom overall was very dated. The building is just a bit tired looking and just looks like old offices. It was a bed for the night, which was all I needed. Bed was comfy though and the staff were nice enough and the price was reasonable.
