The house and property were great! Our first time at Marco Island was enjoyable. We just didn’t know how expensive everything in the area would be.

Property has potential, yard is awful

The state of the home leaves something to be desired. There were multiple holes in the bathroom ceiling, the bathrooms need a full gut and remodel, shower is super tiny, only one shower inside the other you have to go to a little shed type room behind the pool. The outside needs a ton of work, uneven pavers, broken crumbling walls, piles of debris/landscape garbage in multiple locations. Most of the trees are dead or dying so the pool is wide open to San Marco Rd which is very loud. The dock is a hazard, lots of boards were rotted through. King bed was a plus! Bikes were nice and the beach is so close it was only a 5 minute ride. We love Marco just wouldn’t stay here again.

Family vacation

Our family vacation was peaceful and full of time on the beach. The house was about a 15 minute walk to the beach. A bike ride made it about 5 minutes. Returning to the house for lunch and dinner was easy with the short distance back to the beach. The property had all of the necessary items for the price. The management company was easy to communicate with. Recommend!

Birthday getaway

Rental was perfect for our trip for birthday fun in the sun. Only complaint in the main bathroom the baseboard tiles needs a good scrubbing for grime and black stains. The pool,bikes and quick access to the beach is awesome. Reality company's is so helpful and excellent in communicating with every detail.

Excellent Location!

The house fit 4 adults and two toddlers comfortably. The beach was steps away and the heated private pool right there. Amenities for the beach and pool are provided. Towels, dishes, coffee pot, and ice all there! Grocery store is minutes away in a car. Can walk to restaurants if you don’t mind walking a mile. It was a wonderful week!

Perfect Pool!

Cannot say enough about how nice the pool was! The biggest disappointment was the bathroom situation. In the house it's a Jack and Jill type set-up with sliding doors separating two half baths to one shower. The other full bathroom is located outside by the pool, which is inconvenient. I wish I had read the reviews better as this was a drawback for us. Beds were nice, I believe they are both kings and not queens as stated in the description. They are quite high though and for anyone with hip issues it can be difficult to get into bed. We had grandchildren stay in the 3rd bedroom, which had a twin with a trundle. Unfortunately the blinds in this room were in bad shape and we ended up putting sheets over the windows to make the kids feel safe. We were surprised to find only 1 TV in the house. That made it difficult with children on the days that it rained but might not be a problem for other people. Washer and Dryer were great! I do agree with another review about the cleanliness of the dishes. We had to rewash several pans. I would suggest that the cleaning crew look through the cabinets and not assume that everything is clean. I know that I sound picky but I wanted to let other renters know the drawbacks we found. Yes, we would rent this place again. For the cost it's a great place in a nice location on Marco Island.

Could be Great with a little Improvement

Here are the good things. The layout and space of the house was great. The property management company was excellent to work with and very responsive. The location was perfect, the street is a little busy but that didn't bother us and we were able to walk to almost anywhere we wanted to go. The pool was a great size and warm and we very much appreciated all of the pool floats. There were also a bunch of beach supplies such as a wagon & chairs which was wonderful. Now for the negatives. This property was very dirty, I mean the basics were clean toilets, sheets, counters etc. It's just in bad need of a deep clean. The vent above the couch was caked in dirt and the walls and light switches were dirty and in bad need of a wipe down or a fresh paint job. Needs either a new couch or at least a couch cover to deal with the stains. A lot of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty and we had to wash them before use and let me tell you that I am not an OCD crazy clean person. The landscaping is very rundown and in need of some love. There was also a really bad ant problem. The kitchen, bathrooms and living room all had ants everywhere. The management company was really great about responding when I messaged about the ants and cleanliness. They sent pest control right away and offered to have the cleaning company come back (which we declined). In the end we had a great time, and this house could be 5 star with a little TLC.

Great place!

Nice, clean, and quiet home. On a busy road but never so busy as to be annoying. Had trouble hooking up a Roku device to the TV that I brought and the management company came out on a Sunday and hooked it up for me. Yard is a little drab but some like the pebbly look as opposed to grass. Pool is fantastic. A very relaxing vacation through and through.

Family Fun

Unexpected

The selling point for this property was the ability to walk to the beach. This may be the case for the property owners as the closest beach is Resident beach, however, it is closed to everyone else. That means it is about a 3/4 mile walk to the nearest public beach access and with chairs, kids, cooler etc... it makes things a little complicated. The property itself was nice and as advertised. A nice bonus was the giant Mango tree in the driveway, however, several times during the week we were awoken between 6-8 am by several people climbing and picking mangos on the property. The one time I asked what was going on I was told in broken English that they were allowed and to mind my own business. The house had a list of things that it evidently came with like dish and laundry soap that was not there. Overall, the house was nice and we would rent again but more than likely we will find something closer to a beach access point.

Absolutely loved where we stayed. The bikes were such a great added touch. Everything was perfect for us. No complaints at all. Wish I could have stayed longer. The staff was amazing. Loved them they were so friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend.
