The home was clean and beautiful. It had everything we needed during our stay. The hot tub was great, once you push the button to turn it on, it may take awhile before the jets actually turn on and start heating so plan ahead for when you want it to get warm. It was overall a great stay, beautiful location, the construction next door was not bad at all, actually kind of fun to watch a little bit.

We had a fabulous week and house was as described. Very clean and comfortable. As mentioned in ad there is construction next door but honestly don’t let that put you off booking here as it really wasn’t a problem and we barely noticed at all. Location is great, we hired bikes and it was 10 min cycle to beach and 10 min cycle to Mackle Park. We would happily book this house again if we return to Marco Island. I would suggest that perhaps adding another 2 sun loungers as 2 wasn’t really enough.

This house is very spacious and I loved the layout, kids can sleep while adults can be in the kitchen or pool without disturbing them. The owner would text back very quickly and kindly and was reasonable to work with. We grilled, we cooked inside, we swam, we enjoyed all the things here and would recommend this house.

Love this place!

A Five-Star Stay from Start to Finish

We had a wonderful stay at this house truly above expectations. The location is excellent, and the pool and hot tub were amazing. The layout is perfect for entertaining, and we spent New Year’s there with friends and it worked beautifully. Each bedroom has a fantastic water view, and the teenagers loved fishing right off the dock. The house was very well equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, plenty of towels, and cozy blankets for cooler evenings. Management was excellent and very responsive, with top-notch instructions from trash reminders to clear checkout guidance. The app they provided was extremely helpful with recommendations for things to do, rentals, and dining. Everyone was impressed by this home, and we would absolutely return. Even with nearby construction, the crew only worked from 8–2, which didn’t affect us at all since we were out at the beach. Overall, a fantastic experience.

Fantastic trip and home!

We celebrated our 30th anniversary at Mermaid Manor and it was everything and more that we thought it would be! The house was beautiful and located close to beach access and restaurants but with the pool and canal directly behind the house, we felt like we didn't have to go anywhere. The owner was attentive with any questions. We would absolutely stay here again!

Little slice of paradise!

Delightful home! Weather was ideal when we stayed, so the pool and hot tub were utilized to the fullest extent and the water temps were great! House was very clean and had everything we needed, including the fishing poles and beach chairs and wagon which were much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!Bob and Carol

Great Vacation

The Mermaid Manor could not have been a nicer place to stay. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood close to everything. The home was super clean and offered every amenity that we needed. We has a couple questions early on in our stay and the response was great. The check in process and communication overall was one of the best we've had when renting a vacation home. Thanksgiving vacation

This house accommodated 5 adults and 2 toddlers perfectly!! So roomy and open…big kitchen for making meals! The pool and hot tub were a hit, only downfall was the tile was slick when wet and the kiddos took a few tumbles. Overall, it covered all our needs for a great vacation!

Great place!

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The house was super nice, the pool was big and the space was perfect for our family of 7. We had a few small issues at first but the property manager resolved those quickly. Then we had an issue with the refrigerator but we comprised and used a cooler to keep stuff cold. All in all a great place to stay!

Fantastic stay at mermaid manor

We had a fantastic stay. Beautiful home in a great location convenient to everything. Comfortable beds, beautiful pool and outdoor seating. Enjoyed the sunrise sitting out on the lanai poolside. Communication with the property management company and check in/out was easy and convenient. Walkable neighborhood. Beach towels, coolers, beach chairs, and cart were great as we traveled by air and could not bring them with us.

Quiet Week on Marco

Probably the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in, both inside and out. Great location close to everything. Caught several fish off the dock, even a few keepers that made dinner one night. A couple of minor maintenance issues, but itrip was very responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Could use some wine glasses and the keurig was on its last legs.

Perfect

The Mermaid Manor was perfect for our family vacation. The house had everything we wanted/needed from the well equipped kitchen and grill, to everything one would need for the beach including floaties, chairs, umbrella, cart, and even fishing poles! When we weren't out enjoying the island, our days were spent in the beautiful pool and our nights on the lanai. We even saw a dolphin swim through the canals one night. The location was great as well as it was a short drive to anywhere we wanted to go on the island. Overall the Memaid Manor was perfect, and we will definitely be back!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Mermaid Manor. The house is lovely and very large with a wonderful pool and hot tub that are covered by a screened lanai. Beach chairs, a cart to carry stuff to the beach, and an umbrella, as well as pool floats, and beach towels were all provided. I would like to mention, though, that the tiles around the pool are very slippery when wet, and it would have been nice to have a lamp to read by on the nightstands in the bedrooms.

Fabulous place in Marco Island

We enjoyed our stay at the Mermaid Manor! It was exactly as shown … clean, everything we needed, plenty of space, great bathrooms/showers and comfortable beds. The lanai and pool were our favorite areas to hang out! The area was so quiet and peaceful we never saw anyone else while we were there. We appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs, coolers umbrella and wagon. We never walked to the beach but it was a quick drive away. I went on daily walks on the beach and walked for that but we didn’t want to haul our stuff that far. We would definitely stay here again! It was hard to leave !

Great house…great vacation

The house was as great as advertised. Sometimes pics and real life don’t always match but this was spot on. The house was very clean and well maintained. Location at end of cul de sac was an unexpected bonus. Lanai was key to keeping bugs out and no need to clean pool every morning. Tons of wildlife in canal. We saw sting rays, jelly fish, birds, and a dolphin from the dock, all swam around the canal and under the dock. The area is quiet…we loved the peace and quiet. You could go to a fun restaurant and then go home to quiet. We would love to stay again!!

The Mermaid Manor

Overall a very nice week stay at The Mermaid Manor. The house was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the pool and spa everyday and appreciated the water being heated to a comfortable level. As noted in other reviews the pool exterior tile was slippery when wet so extra caution was used. It would be nice if the owner attached the handrail in the center of the steps going into pool for support down-it was a small safety hazard for bad knees and young small legs or older bones! As it was a very nice stay with a much appreciated quiet environment I will bring a few suggestions that will enhance for future guest visits. The kitchen needs reorganization with new baking sheets, serving spoons, oven bakeware and general organization. We had 4 scissors and 10 knives but not one single large spoon or ice cream scoop. The general layout of utensils and number of "extras" thrown in drawers made it awkward in placement and retrieval. Just simple reorganizing could help in finding what is needed. While the master bed was nice the pillows were very "used" and not of a quality that would be acceptable. The guest rooms were similar however the mattresses and pillows need replaced to an acceptable level. The mattresses were well used and hard. Linens were nice and throw blankets were appreciated in living area. Beach gear was nice and we used the wagon each day. Beach towels will need updated soon. Communication was very good and we would stay again with a few upgrades that would be considered standard for the pricing and location of the home. Marco Island is beautiful and good housing goes in line with quality of the island.
