To whom it may concern ,
I am very disappointed with my stay at Marco Island Ocean Beach Resort, room 801. The issue was the A/C not working in the bedrooms. Starting at 8:00 am with a visit to the front desk. Only to be told the problem would be fixed. An hour later the front desk informed me I needed to contact the management company. Which I did numerous time throughout the day. Finally in the afternoon a maintenance tech showed up to the unit. He tried to make the needed repair. Changing batteries then the thermostat. Still the second zone did not work. I waited in the apartment while the maintenance tech worked on the unit. Then without a word or explanation the maintenance tech just left the unit. The unit was still broken and there was no communication how or whether the issue would ever be resolved. Frustrated, I called the management company again and your support team member assured me the issue would be resolved and someone would contact me directly. Even still, as I am on a plane flying back to NY, no one has called!!!
With out the A/C sleeping was made very difficult and unpleasant. As we were traveling with another couple, we slept with bedroom doors closed. The temperatures in the bedrooms became uncomfortably hot , muggy and difficult to breath.
Before I post this on the internet Monday call me to discuss .
Again Very disappointed in your service, lack of communication to resolve this issue.
