Lovely view of pool - but can’t quite see sunset in the winter. Host was SUPER easy to work with! Be aware that in the winter, the pool isn’t in full sun til after 12. We were disappointed in the very strict rules - no balls in the pool, kids couldn’t play in the grass, need keys to get OUT even. And one of the elevators was out the entire time - we took a lot of stairs! Unit is nicely updated, but the floors left us with black socks/feet.

Pretty condo, beautiful location

South seas complex is immaculate, very secure, very nice amenities. Unit itself was spotless with all the essentials, comfortable furniture, very comfortable master bed (did not use the 2nd bedroom). Beautiful kitchen. Great balcony and view, although not a sunset view. Plenty of parking, convenient location. It is a solid 10 minute walk through the sand to get to the waters edge, but very pleasant and never terribly crowded. Found lots of pretty shells, and the lagoon was very interesting to walk around and explore. Would definitely return.

No screens for balcony doors!

This unit has no screens on the balcony. We picked this unit because of the beautiful view and because we enjoyed hanging out on the balcony in a similar unit last year. It appears that this condo is the only one in the whole complex like this. Also first night we went to shower all the towels were put away in the closet wet. They just skipped the dryer?? Communication with owner was non existent. Great complex but I'd suggest finding a better unit.

Wonderful location; Relaxing

We were grateful for our time enjoying Marco Island. Things we loved: The condo was perfect for our needs and we loved the ocean view from the balcony. The dolphins that came up to the shore along the beach were an added treat. Plenty of beach towels and wagon to take out to the beach if you needed. The pool was perfect temp to enjoy. Kitchen was well equipped too! Things that could be improved: Check in. If you've never been to this property - and the guard at the gate doesnt tell you anything (as was our case) -just knowing we could park under the parking ramp would have been helpful. (sign says you need a blue pass - we were given gold) Leaving the keys in the unit when you need a key to get in the building created more confusion - but another guest eventually came along and let us in. We discovered that you trade your gold parking pass in for your week long pass for $100. Bicycles also require a pass if you want to use the bike rack under the parking ramp. I was glad we did not have our grandsons with us as there were many rules that seem to cater to the older condo owners, more than the enjoyment of those [short term renters] on vacation.

Great Stay!

We love South Seas. It's our 2nd year staying at this location but different units. We were somewhat skeptical about this place as communication with the host was difficult getting our questions answered, and the inside photos didn’t look too appealing and the price was lower than other units. But...we found it to be an excellent stay! The place is clean and the view is awesome, looking directly over the pool and out to the beach. It is sparsely decorated, but very sufficient with everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed comfortable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect Getaway

The 2 bedroom condo had beautiful views of the Gulf, the pool was very nice and quiet and the condo was very clean. Would highly recommend this rental!

It was a nice chill vacation for us. We were celebrating for 35 th anniversary and we are longtime Marco fans. If you are looking for luxury and cleanliness not sure this is your place. If that is not that important to you it would be fine. I think the cleaning person needs to do a more thorough inspection before they are finished with the unit- there was hair in shower from previous renters and someone left some remains 
. On the bedspread
couldn’t be ignored or easily overlooked
it was obvious
could use a few more decorations/ personal touches but that is my opinion- great location though- close to restaurants- we rented bikes for the week for a daily bike ride- a distance to get to beach but that was ok with us- condo complex was clean and pool was excellent. Weather was perfect!!

Place has potential

We hadn't heard from anyone till 2 hours after check-in time, this was fine as we had some delays at the airport. Upon check-in we found ourselves in the middle of a business squabble. The keys were in a drop box along side an envelope with someone else's name on it. When we arrived at the condo we learned we would have to fork out another $50 to register for parking. Got in the condo and discovered a lack of TP, paper towels, and other sundries. The AC was set at frigid temps and would not stop running, even when switched to auto. We turned it off and left it for the duration of our 6 night stay... and it was comfortable. Towel bars were useless as they were pulling out of the wall and the sliding door is a bit broke and tricky (I suppose someone broke it trying to figure it out!) The folks upstairs arrived on our 3rd night... we know as they like to move furniture at 11pm. Overall it wasn't a bad place to stay but it needs some work to bring it up to the levels we are accustomed too with our prior vacation rentals.

Lovely furnished, fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of beach chairs and an umbrella. No need to bring extra beach towels, there are a bunch!! Even though it’s a trek to get to the actual water, it’s totally worth it. *side note, it cost us an extra $50 to park for the week. We had a great time.

Our experience here in Marco Island was excellent. The room was clean, well equipped and spacious. The view was beautiful, a bit of a walk to the ocean but anyone who has been to Marco Island is familiar with the expansive beach. The check in process was easy. Communication with the host was timely and accurate. I only gave four stars in the section only because I would’ve liked more detailed information earlier in the rental process, but everything turned out very good! We would stay here again and I would recommend it!

Unit was just as described

The Unit was just as described in the listing and even more spacious than in the pictures. Updated and very comfortable and clean. The property even includes plenty of beach chairs, cart, umbrella and plenty of towels. We had a lovely stay- thanks!
