M y first time using VRBO, first time in Marfa and the experience couldnât have been better! The space and host were great and every amenity thought of was included. The fire pit is a great addition to the already spacious backyard area. Iâll be returning here in the future without a doubt!
Facilities were very rustic. Not up to the standards of a lower class hotel. Hostess was prompt in answering when I couldnât find the facilities. WiFi was excellent. Coffee creamer was spoilt. No sweetener available. Friend who slept on the 2nd bed woke up itching all over.
The place is great, located in the perfect spot to explore marfa by foot. The description of the listing is accurate but could be updated a bit to sell the place better because this is a real hidden gem! My only complaint is the cleanliness of the heater fans - the dust gave us a bit of allergies after running it every night. Other than that, the place is very cozy and welcoming and would definitely consider staying here again.
The place was amazing. Itâs cozy, well maintained and central to everything. I typically prefer hotel rooms, but this is one that I would consider returning to.
Location was easy to find and close to many galleries. Place was warm and cozy. Only thing was train passed a couple of times at night. Did not bother me but woke up my daughter. Overall I was happy with my stay.
Rental Property 200 E San Antonio Street, Marfa TX - Sondra
Upon arrival, the property was closed. I received a confirmation 2 days priori to my stay with the access key. This is a busy time for Marfa as they host the Marfa Lights, therefore there were no other rooms available. The room I paid for housed 3 individuals for a 110.00 fee. We spoke to the manager at a different hotel who helped us for one night. Then there was 2 more nights we had to get 2 rooms since there were 3 of us. We had to go out of our way and pay more. We travelled far to visit family in Marfa, TX. I was informed I would be refunded a prorated rate and have yet to receive it. I feel it is unfair we would be charged for 2 rooms when I rented one for this property that accommodated for 3. Thank you - Roxanne Galindo
