Our family rented this cozy cabin for the week. There are so many different activities to do near by. We enjoyed making mountain pie pizzas and s'more's every night and cooking burgers and steaks on the grill. There is lots a things to do on site like biking, axe throwing and catching frogs in the pond. Double diamond deer ranch and Farmers inn are close by. We explored many trails in the woods with some amazing bridges. It was so hot during our stay, AC in the cabin was a life saver. We visited the community pool near by and swam in the creek to cool off. The host was very responsive and friendly. We will definitely book this rental again in the future.
We had the BEST TIME! Brittany went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of this weekend. The yard was a nice size for our dogs and kids to run around. And the kids loved the swings by the fire pit. It was the perfect spot for smores and stargazing in between days of weekend hikes at Cook Forest!
The location is super convient to Cooks Forest and we do the National Forest trails. The property was just as pictured and very clean. There is a hidden gem!!! A little area that is being created with a larger than life 30ft Big foot made out of branches. It's truly a must stay and see. I highly recommend! Will be staying again in the future!
Everything about our stay at Brittanyâs cabin, from booking through checkout was great! She is a great host and communicator. This cabin was just adorable and perfect for us and our two young grandchildren. The location is very convenient to Marrienville for access to stores and some nice restaurants (Bettinaâs italian was great!). It ia about a 15 drive to the state park, so really close. We enjoyed a winter hike to the swinging bridge at Tomâs run. Canât forget to mention, the cabin was spotless upon out arrival and it feels so new and fresh! Thank you Brittany!
We stayed 2 days to take a break from our long road trip. The cabin was comfortable and cozy. The bedroom was very small but the Queen size bed was comfortable. The host was quick to respond and was very accommodating.
My sister and I were very excited for this getaway, it was disgustingly dirty. Our cream socks were BLACK and had to be thrown away. Plus when we got there at 4pm Brittany was cleaning the floor. More like smearing around the dirt! The sheets were stained as well as the couches and throw pillows. The dishes that were left for us literally had never been washed. DO NOT STAY HERE unless you like living in dirt.
If you are looking for a cozy little cabin setting not too far off the beaten path, this is the place. Fully equipped kitchen, wifi, electric fire place, nice outdoor lounging area with a fire pit and plenty of wood. Yard looks out into the woodlands. There are 4 cabins on the property two at either end with railroad tie walls and lumber barriers separating Each set of two, creating privacy for you while you enjoy the back yard with the fire pit. Modern shower, tankless water heater, nice log cabin style walls. Kitchen table for 2 or 3 and a breakfast bar style counter separating half the kitchen from the living room. Overall nice and clean, hosts are responsive and friendly. Convenient to cooks forest for hiking, biking, horseback riding, canoeing and fishing. A handful of small local restaurants with reasonable prices and decent food. Just a nice place to hang out and relax for a weekend while doing some glamping, or having some alone time with that special someone.
We rented this cabin and the one right next to it for a family getaway for the weekend . We all enjoyed our stay . The host Brittany was super helpful when we needed her . This is our second time here hope to return again .
It was a nice cabin, but definitely only big enough for 1 or 2 people. The futons are deceiving. We had four people and ended up having to get a room at the local hotel because the futons were so uncomfortable. Also, we had to ask for linens for the futons. They only had one towel and one hand towel when we arrived, so we needed to request more towels. It is a nice cabin, but don't plan to use the futons to sleep. It ended up being a very expensive trip because we had to purchase the hotel for two nights on top of the cost of the cabin.
We stayed in the villa just for 2 nights but it was a wonderful getaway for our honeymoon. The property managers were very kind and helpful with providing firewood and any help we needed like when we locked ourselves out of the cabin. Check in and check out was very easy and smooth. The place was very clean and the kitchen had all the plates/pans/cups we could need. Would recommend and hope to come back someday!
We had a great stay, this cabin is really nice. The bedroom has a good mattress with great sheets and comforter very comfortable. The bathroom shower was perfect, water pressure good and a bonus of having shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Living room and kitchen also great with two couches and electric fireplace, kitchen was well equipped. Outside fire pit area is very unique we enjoyed cooking on the fire. I would recommend this cabin and the owner has three more on the property with privacy for all of them. We hope to return soon.
