From coffee or tea available in the room to a well stocked and peaceful continental breakfast/game lounge, Roam Inn provided a relaxed, comfortable (to the point of being borderline luxurious) stay. Everything was clean and well kept. Ice machine was open to all BUT kept isolated for quietness. Beautiful art and photography (of local artists) were displayed throughout the facilities. A "Must Return" in my book.
The staff is always welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are very comfortable and the morning breakfast area has a nice selection of foods to sit and enjoy or take back to your room. One of our favorite places to stay while visiting the Munising area
Overall we really enjoyed our two-night stay at the hotel. The room was spotless and the bed linens were exquisite. The complimentary water and continental breakfast were a plus. On the improvement side, our room floor was a little slanted, the bath mirror was so low that both my husband and I couldnât see without stooping down and the king bed itself had low sagging sides. At first I loved the pillows but they ended up being a little over stuffed and I had a bit of a neck ache in the morning. The restaurant was excellent and we liked the common areas. The location was good too. Overall very nice place!
Avoid room 18. It is one of the most expensive and advertised as âpeace and quietâ yet neither exists! It is above the restaurant and you will hear every movement and conversation as if they were in the room. View is also very disappointing.
This place was amazing. Wonderful amenities, very nicely appointed, wonderful bed, very spacious, great breakfast. We had dinner there very attractive and charming, excellent food. We would love to return.
Very small room with a view of a wooden wall, and very expensive for a random Tuesday after Labor Day at $318/ night. Bathroom was decent but zero counter space to put anything. Only selected it because of the location near Pictured Rocks and stellar reviews, but after staying there the reviews make zero sense to us. It was basic at best, they did have nice bed and bath linens but that would be the highlight and did not justify the $318 rate. Friends stayed at Pictured Rocks Inn and Suites which were much bigger, just as clean with a better view for way less.
I would absolutely recommend Roam Inn to everyone! It was such a cute, quaint and quiet hotelâŠ.and hotels like this in the UP are hard to come by. We stayed Sunday-Monday nights at the start of the slower season, so the restaurant wasnât open, but I look forward to coming back and staying when it is. Super clean, great amenities, cute room, easy check in and parking, and close to everything Munising!
