You had to pay for the pool, which I thought was unusual. I was also in a building separate from the main hotel, and the pictures were very different than the room I actually stayed in. It was expensive for the very basic room that needed some repairs and updates.

Spa was relaxing. Staff very professional. Food in restaurant very good. Drinks very expensive. We were in the back building - Older facility showing its age. Bathrooms are small.

This trip was amazing. Love this quaint little town. You are within walking distance to stores, cafes, Roman Bath house. The hotel could use an upgrade but was clean. I didnt use the spa so i cant speak on it. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The restaurant and food were mediocre. Good price, safe area.

As much as I enjoyed our stay, I like to be honest about certain things. The positives were definitely the service and the cleanliness. The hotel called and confirmed on when we were coming and gave us some friendly info. The common areas are charming and it's nice to have options to dine in the restaurant or to have room service. A very convenient location in town to do shopping, dining, etc. The negatives would be that the standard rooms do need some sprucing up for the price. The rooms definitely need updating like extra toiletries, TV seemed old, the picture quality was low no matter how many times I tried adjusting the cable in the back of it. Adding a soap dish and making sure there's extra tissues and toilet paper would be nice. The restaurant menu in the room needs updated. Our breakfast tray sat in the hallway all day till the next morning. A taller wall mirror for the Ladies and the window AC filter should be checked and cleaned more frequently. We could smell the nearby hillside in the back of building and my cousin had a bad migraine the first night we stayed and it was partial to the AC fan. There was a fridge but no microwave. There were however plenty of outlets and USB hookups on the lamps. Love the quality of the bath towels and washcloths. Beds were just okay. We didn't use their spa so we don't have any info on it. But in general we were content with our stay and may come back.

The beautiful and historic Country Inn is located right by the springs and park, well within walking distance to downtown shops and eateries. The accommodations, as well as the Restaurant and Tavern were exceptional. The perfect place to stay in this charming and relaxing little town!

Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Staid in the Green Building and was super clean. Ordered room service for breakfast and was very good. Only advise this time of year check the Stores and Restaurants in town for days they are open. Most are closed certain days. Suggest eating in the Country Inn Restaurant.

The rooms are dated and not in an historic way. There is no breakfast included and restaurant doesn’t open until 8am. The grounds were not well maintained. I did not feel the price I paid was worth my stay at this Inn.

I just stayed here for a girls weekend and it was lovely! The staff were all super friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Also in a perfect location and super walkable to all of the cute shops and restaurants. I highly recommended staying here!

The staff was very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. The location is so convenient, we were able to walk to our hot springs appointment and to dine out. We also ordered room service for breakfast and it came fast and was so good. This was not our first stay and it won’t be our last.

What a relaxing place

Our room was beautiful bed great Dining food is good. Many places to sit and relax. Dont forget tge Roman baths . They have a spa also English garden to walk or sit in. Town easy walking to cute stores
