A great place to stay at if you plan to visit Chatsworth or Bakewell area It is like going back in time, but still get to enjoy modern amenities. All staff we encountered with were all super nice and welcoming. The room was amazing and food was superb.

The hotel staff were all well trained but friendly and helpful at the same time. Food and wine were excellent and the atmosphere at the Peacock was calm and serene with a comfy feel about the place. I am full of praise for The Peacock Hotel. We received a warm welcome on arrival, and the staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a lovely view over the garden.
