What a wonderful place to stay! We were looking to just relax for our anniversary and Molokai was the place. This property was very clean, kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking and even a few things to store leftovers in. There were plenty of towels for showers and beach and the furniture was comfortable inside and out. The only thing missing was bath soap, so bring your own or buy some when you arrive. Condo owner was quick to answer questions and offered advice for things to see, where to shop for groceries, beaches to go to, etc. This unit was perfect for catching gorgeous sunsets and several beaches (we had almost every beach to ourselves) were within walking distance. We saw monk seals resting on the beach just north of the condo. Always wear footwear until you hit the sand on the beaches as the trees here drop branches and twigs with thorns (1/4 - 1/2") that will penetrate even your shoes or sandals. This unit was nicely positioned on the property. Molokai has had less rainfall recently so the land on the ocean side of the condo is no longer green but the other areas around the condo are well maintained and green. The two plumeria trees right outside the back doors were blooming and provided a wonderful smell all day and night! We would stay here again! Thank you to the owners!

Absolutely stunning location. The property was clean and spacious. The views were beautiful. Easy access to the beach. The store located on the property had all the essentials. The host communicated all the information in a timely manner, was very friendly, and provided tips for our stay. We would love to come back for another stay.

Perfect paradise getaway!

Like previous guests, I want to be selfish and keep this place to ourselves! :) The cottage was absolutely everything we needed. Perfect location, all the amenities we needed, and serenely quiet. It was like we had the resort almost all to ourselves. Our hosts gave clear instructions on everything, responded for one quick question, and even gave us a ton of extra Info about exploring the island. We definitely hope to come back again!

Great Molokai Beach House

Charming, yet up to date accommodation with a beautiful view of the beach and great sunsets. We had the use of towels, chairs and an umbrella for the beach. Mynas and wild turkeys were there to greet us during the day and deer at night. We loved having meals on the lanai and the beach was just steps away. We even saw a seal sunning himself on the beach! Jeff was very available during our stay and always responsive. Thanks, Jeff, for being a great host!

Perfect cottage

By far the nicest VRBO unit we have ever stayed in. The quiet location of the cottage, unobstructed views and the lanai made for the perfect spot to watch the ocean whether in the morning for breakfast or in the evening for sunset. The unit is equipped with all of the essentials you need for the perfect beach vacation. Jeff was super responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend his cottage! We can’t wait to return!

Great location, Great home, Great host!

Beautiful ocean front location, very short walk to the ocean or pool. Remote location (easy half-hour from town). Quiet and peaceful. There is a well-stocked convenience store on property. House is very well stocked, everything we needed and more. Jeff is a terrific host, thoughtful and VERY responsive. We will stay there again!

Getaway in Paradise

My husband I came here to unplug, relax, and appreciate the views. We had beautiful views of the ocean, access to the pool, and relative privacy. It was fantastic. The bed was a bit uncomfortable but I did not take off any stars for that. It is probably hard/expensive to get a premium bed on Molokai. It was more comfortable than the bed we slept on on the other side of the island... so if you are coming to Molokai you probably can't find a better place.

Great Unit, Private, Nice View, Communication Excellent

We had a great stay at Jeff's unit. Communication with him prior to our arrival was excellent and he provided a lot of information prior to our arrival. Self check was easy and unit was clean. Full kitchen with washer/drier and high speed internet was a big plus. Unobstructed ocean view from the patio made it hard to leave. We put our 9 year old on the pull out sofa bed which worked out great. Excellent BBQ grill 100ft away. The whole complex used to be an oceanfront hotel so many buildings are boarded up and we saw very few people which is a big plus. Pool was nice, clean, and most always it was just us. Even though this is a duplex unit and we did have someone next door, we never saw or could hear them....very private. I recommend Jeff's unit if you are looking to get away from people and enjoy empty beaches with fantastic nightly sunsets.

Absolutely Perfect!

The condo/property far exceeded our expectations. It is a very special place. Calm, relaxing and comfortable. Clean; no issues with bugs, and enjoyed the occasional tiny lizard visitors. Love the two blooming plumeria trees! Communication was easy; host is very amicable. Really hope to return soon! Thank you so much for sharing this special home with us!

Ideal Location & Well Equipped Cottage!

I had an outstanding stay at 5A! Jeff was delightful to communicate with and super helpful. Y’all - this location CANNOT be beat. Especially if you’re looking for peace and quiet, with beautiful scenery that is not overcrowded, this is your place . The kitchen was very well equipped, which was especially helpful given the remote location and the fact that I preferred to cook most meals at the cottage. I especially loved being able to sit on the lanai each morning and evening to watch the waves. Easy accessibility for daily walks, and very close to the state’s largest and least crowded beaches - stunning white sand expanse of Pāpƍhaku Beach (where I had a sunset completely to myself!) and also peaceful Kapukahehu Beach (Dixie Maru Beach). This was my first trip to Molokai and found it to be special and quirky in the best way. I saw a bumper sticker that said, “Don’t change Molokai, let Molokai change you”, which was a perfect summary of the vibe. I really don’t think there is a better unit at Kephi Beach Resort than this one! I feel so fortunate to have stayed there. Hope to return one day!

All we were hoping for and more!

Amazing property. Kitchen appliances and accessories were the best! Beautiful view! Quiet property— could hear the crashing waves all day and night. Was hard each morning to decide to venture out in the island, or simply stay put and enjoy the lanai and ocean. Molokai is not for everyone— but we found kind, generous people, delightful little cafes, beautiful scenery, incredible drives and trails, interesting farm tours, and this beautiful property!

Another great stay

We rented this cottage under previous owners, and were happy that new owners kept it in the rental pool. New owners are very responsive, and on-island representatives/cleaners are also helpful and available. The kitchen has been very nicely updated, and the added island greatly improves the flow and functionality. Hate to write this for fear of letting the cat out of the bag, but this is the BEST place to stay on Molokai! If you are new to the island, be aware that red dust, bugs and geckos are to be expected, and are part of the experience. But so are peace and quiet, empty beaches, and friendly people.

Pure relaxation

We had an amazing stay at Jeff's place. The location is perfect for anyone looking for a chance to unwind and really feel those island vibes. The place is clean, new kitchen, and everything you need, including beach chairs. Peaceful mornings and amazing beach walks. 100% recommended beach side cottage.

Secluded beach

The cottage offers amazing view of the ocean. I enjoyed the updated kitchen, well stocked with all kinds of seasonings. There are also beach chair and umbrellas provided, very considerate. We also saw a juvenile Hawaiian monk seal sunbathing on the beach, which was terrific. Mahalo, Jeff & Jennifer, for sharing your vacation home with us.

Found what we were looking for ❀

Listing is accurate and this unit is spotless. The sunsets, waves and birds made it the perfect place if you’re looking for peace ,quiet and solitude. Da Store here had a little bit of everything except liquor. Beaches were amazing with rarely another person to be seen. Also, on Make Horse beach be aware of the sleeping Hawaiian monk seals - I almost sat on one thinking it was a rock!

Great time in Kepuhi

We enjoyed our time at this property. Its lanai has one of the best sunset views on the planet. The unit is in good shape and the kitchen was well appointed for cooking, which is important since the Kepuhi development is somewhat far from restaurants. We would stay in this unit again.
