Great Family Vacation

Family vacation

We will be back this house fit our family vacation better than any other vacation house we rented. Easy to communicate with owner, house was every thing that they said it was plenty of room for every one (19). Even on a rain day we had plenty to do.Great dock for your boat, great people to also rent a boat from.

Absolutely AMAZING!!!!

Pictures don’t do it justice!!! This house, dock, property, view is PERFECT. I seriously cannot say enough wonderful things about it. We ranged in age from 72-2 and everyone was fully entertained from the very first minute. Plenty for the teenagers to do! We rented the pontoon boat as well, and that was great too! Highly recommend this home for your family vacation at Norris! Owners very responsive, even let us store our boat offsite during our first week of vacation in Panama.

The house and boat dock was clean and comfortable. this end of the lake was new to us and we liked the privacy and minimal boat traffic on the lake. We had great weather, so were able to eat both inside and outside on the deck. However, if the weather had been bad where we had to eat inside only, there would not have been adequate seating for 16 people. the step down near the end of each hallway caused several of us to stumble. I suggest highlighting this area someway so the change in elevation is easily noticeable during both day and night. All in all we had a good time and enjoyed this facility.

Great Home! Huge Dock! Wonderful Time!

This is a great place for a large group to stay. The house sits up on top of the hill with great views. There are deer on the property every night and morning. The dock is enormous and has a refrigerator/freezer, grill and large table. You should plan to cook out at the dock during your stay. Two slips are provided for your use, and we had local friends who came by on their boat to hang out with us. You can walk or drive to the dock, depending on your preference and ability. The owner is on the property, and you will likely run into them or their employees during your stay. However, they are super nice and great to have around if you need something.

Boat Dock Access is Amazing

This house has amazing access to the boat dock on the lake. It's in a small cove with no traffic. The ability to drive from the house to the dock was a huge benefit. The full refrigerator and grill on the dock was very nice. The house had ample room for our group of 13. One full bath is connected to a bedroom, and one half bath is connected to a bedroom. All the others are in the hallways. The dual refrigerators in the kitchen, along with 1 downstairs made meal planning easy. This house also has 3 washer/dryer units, for all your laundry needs. The owner was quick to respond and very helpful.

Lakefront Getaway at Swan Seymour was exactly as advertised and the perfect place for a get away with friends and family. The house was beautiful and perfectly set up for multiple families with kids. The boys loved the bunk beds, the girls loved having their own space and the adults enjoyed the quiet and privacy of their own wing of the house. The basement was absolutely amazing and a great place to wind down after a day at the lake. The deck with hot tub had an amazing view and the adults enjoyed beverages and a dip in the hot tub at the of the day. The best feature may have been the dock. We spent the entirety of each day down at the dock enjoying everything the lake had to offer. The grill and fridge at the dock made lunches a breeze and limited trips back and forth from the house. The road down to the dock allowed us to pack up the truck with all the necessities for the day and drive them down instead of walking everything down. Everyone loved our vacation and we will definitely be back. Thank you!

Everything you need

This was our second trip to Lake Norris for a family get together and we will definitely return to this property. The house and property have everything you need to have a great time from the time you get up to the time you go to bed. Due to the timing of our stay we were not able to rent a boat but er still utilized the great dock. We used the kayaks that are provided and did a lot of cove to cove exploring. The house is very well equipped with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed using the hot tub as well as the swim tub. All the bedrooms are well appointed and comfortable. We used the Weber gas grill at the house twice and next time we will use the grill at the dock at least one night. The host, Gunner was very responsive and helpful. We look forward to our next visit which will be earlier in the season so we can rent a pontoon boat.

Beautiful house and very spacious. Property boasts many bedroom options and great game room as well.

The property was great for our large group of multiple families. Having the second hot tub was a great addition. Amazing views, would recommend coming at a time of year when the boat may be rented.

We had a great time! The house was perfect for our family. My sister is in a wheelchair and the house was easily accessible. Lake access was great and house boat rental was easy! Our buddy diesel the dog was so sweet and played with the kids. We almost took him home with us 😉

Lakeside paradise

This is simply paradise! Amenities are awesome. We rented a pontoon from the owners, blast! House was amazing, so much room! Entire family was there, 3 children and spouses , 7 grandchildren (1 to 17 years). Brother and wife 8 year old grandson part of week. Family came to visit us, first time home in 6 years. So much room to visit without interruption. But last but not least the property management was awesome! House was ready and he responded to any request immediately. When I was searching for a house I had to take in consideration my husbands disability. He is in a wheelchair part of the time, walker in doors. Even though this property is not ADA it is accessible for those with limitations. He was able to easily get in and out of the home and even on the pontoon with assistance of our boys. Fishing trip with grandsons, not successful with the catch but memories made ! I give this property an A And hope to return again! Worth every penny and then some!

PERFECT!

What an amazing place this is! Beautiful house with wonderful amenities. We loved being able to drive to the dock and not have to worry about the steps for the older and younger in our group. The swim spa and game room in the basement are a nice extra touch! Comfy beds and everything we needed to cook meals. The dock area is fantastic for fishing and hanging out, and it was awesome that they brought the pontoon to us for the weekend! The fire place was perfect for hanging out in the evenings. Owners were very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend this place!

Hillside Beauty

This home is spacious and cozy all at once. The view is excellent and the balcony space is exceptional. We wore the lake out during our stay and the house was great to come home to and settle in for the evening. We didn't mind but it is best to drive down to the doc since the incline of the property is hard to tell from the pictures. Town and grocery store is close for runs for any forgotten goods. We enjoyed morning runs in the surrounding hills and watching deer come out in the evening. The owners house was next door but they were not around and it made us feel like we were totally off the grid...which we loved. Norris Lake and Swan Seymour were a great combination in East Tennessee.

Stunning! The view is gorgeous! This house was the perfect fit for our very large family, fantastic amenities for the adults as well as the kids! Having a private dock for our boats was a very nice added bonus. Gunner, Jodie and Brian were greats hosts and made us all feel very welcome.

Amazing Lake Vacation!

Spectacular home overlooking beautiful Norris Lake. Lots of room in the house and on the dock. Boat house slip was perfect to park my ski boat, and it stayed in the water all week! Amazing setting on the dock, feels like you are out in the middle of the lake!!! Perfect place for our family reunion/vacation!
