A group of us stayed here for a long weekend and we really enjoyed the location and cabin. We were close to town but not in the middle of it all so very quiet. For anyone traveling with someone who has mobility issues, getting into and out of the cabin was tricky with the amount of snow and ice (this was February). It was a steep incline to get to the cabin and then there was a snow berm which had steps carved into it which were a little tricky for some to navigate. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay!
My family of 3 plus dog had a great time playing in the snow and enjoying the possibility to sled down the driveway since this cabin is on a dead end street! Kitchen was great with most the things we needed (would have loved some ziplock bags to store food we cooked and also cooking spray but thatâs such a small detail that didnât take away from our stay). All the neighbors were very friendly and made us feel welcome.
Neighbors were great, including the welcoming committee that consisted of Guinness the labradoodle from across the street. Golf and hiking options are superb. Afternoons spent reading on the deck were so enjoyable. We loved McCall so much we have already booked another 2 weeks next summer.
We loved our stay in the cozy cabin. The cabin is very comfortable. It has everything you need to cook nice meals, a nice deck for hanging out outside, and very comfortable beds. It was also a great place for our dog. It's in a nice location with quick access to downtown. It is surrounded by forest, and stays cool inside. We loved it!
