We had a great time with our group of 4 adults and 5 young boys. The bunk rooms are great for the kids with the ability for them to stay downstairs and hang out in their kid pad. The sauna and hot tub were great after long days of skiing !!

We had an excellent experience. Loved the floor plan. Perfect for the group, especially with kids to spread out. Great location convenient to both the water park and snow tubing. The bedding and beds themselves were amazing! I would caution folks with mobility issues that the steps down from the driveway to the front door might be a challenge. Overall a great stay.

The host was great with communication. The house was exactly as pictured. It was a group of 10 of us staying there for 4 days and 3 nights, so we did end up running out of toilet tissue on our last night there. I would just recommend having extra toilet tissue in each of the bathrooms. The master bathroom had like 4 extra rolls but it went it fast during our stay. Apart from that, everything was great! The house was super clean, the kitchen had enough pots and pan to cook with, so that was wonderful. I was in there at the end of October and utilized the deck space to sit around the fire pit. We had to use the leaf blower to clear out all the leaves on the deck and on the furniture. Overall, had a tremendous time during my stay there, would highly recommend and will return in the future!

Great overall space, we had a wonderful time reconnecting with family, and the Shenandoah NP area is awesome. Things were pretty clean when we arrived, bedding felt fresh, there were ample towels and well equipped kitchen. So many fun things to explore and do around the house. A few things to note: some communication comes from the agency that runs the property, not in your Vrbo inbox. As a result I, for some reason, didn’t not receive the specific check-in instructions and code. Communication with the host was simple and prompt though, just be careful because signal is not always great in and around the area. The exterior landscaping could use some TLC for sure, the grill works, but it’s pretty beat, the pinball machine is super cool, but the lights and scoring, we’re not functioning, the record player and cassette deck are super neat as well, but the record player didn’t have a needle, and there were only two cassettes. All that said, I’d stay here again for sure. Comfortable, clean, spacious, great location!

We had an amazing time in Massanutten. The house was great. There was more than enough space for our group of 12 (6 Adults & 6 Children). The location was perfect for enjoying the resort. Just a short drive to the water park, adventure park, etc. The house was stocked with all the essentials. I highly recommend!

Great place to stay, just not the best for cooking

I would love to be able to give a 4.5 for the stay, so please read the comments and know that overall it was a good place to stay overall!Positives - near Shenandoah, clean, comfortable beds and a pretty good layout (3 bedrooms/2 baths up, 3 bed and 1 bath down). There are TV rooms on each floor and plenty of fun things to do while at the house - the hot tub and sauna were both big hits.Negatives - this was a very difficult house to prepare meals in. So if you are planning to eat out it's not an issue. While the kitchen at first appears well stocked with tons of dishes, silverware and cookware, there were almost no pans that were in good condition. This is probably not the owners fault - I know that many guests don't take care of these items. But it felt like rather than tossing things that weren't usable they have just piled up and we had to dig through to find one to clean and use. Second, the dishwasher is not properly installed and falls out if you pull out a fully loaded bottom rack (which when you have 8 people is EVERY TIME). Again, I've seen this at other VRBO's and seems like basic maintenance that they could address. Third, we set off the smoke detector every time we cooked. Like, every time. With the fan on. With the windows open. There is a unit in the kitchen maybe 10 ft from the stove. It's just going to happen. And finally, it's just a tight kitchen to work in - which was doable for cooking for 8 but would be hard if you have full occupancy

Family & Friends Sleepover

We planned an overnight with 3 families to this home as a Christmas gift to the kids. The house was perfect for our group. We had a great night hanging out playing games and enjoying the hot tub and the sauna. If we’re back in the area we would definitely stay here again.

Thanksgiving 2024

Our family made the decision to connect at the mid-way point for the holiday. We reseached many homes and chose this one because of the location and size in accommodating all of us in one location. We were NOT disappointed at all. From the ease of moving in to the home to all the fine details of the home it was a great time had by all. My husband and I were contacted by them to see if we wanted to extend our time or arrive early. We chose to arrive early and get things ready prior to the children and grandchildren arriving. That was a great surprise and worked out beautifully. We woke on our first morning to see several deer in the back yard and around the house. How special that was ! On our final day our one granddaughter was so sad and made the statement that she did not want to leave the house. Thanks for a great time had by all.
