My wife and I traveled with our two kids, their spouses, and our granddaughter. All three generations had a great time! The house is beautiful; so is the setting! Every amenity was there, conveniently labeled. After a thunderstorm disabled the hot tub Shannon talked us through resetting it. We all enjoyed the whole experience.

We had a great stay! The house was clean and comfortable. Shannon was very prompt and responsive, which made communication easy. Great place for a fun time for the whole family—the kids room and provided toys, along with the game room, kept the kids entertained, and the coffee bar was a big hit with the coffee lovers in our group. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax after long days. Highly recommend!

Very nice. Well equipped. Family trip ranged from 1 to adults. Everyone enjoyed themselves and had a great time. Kitchen had everything things you need. House included toiletries and almost all the items that was needed. All you have to pack is clothes. Thank you for allowing my family and I to stay at your home! Will come again.

Wonderful home!

We had a lovely 4 night stay at the home. The decor was nicely done and the linens were very clean and high-end (super important to me), and the beds extremely comfortable Everything felt clean and fresh. Shannon was easy to work with and always responded to my questions right away. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and I was in heaven with the sauna. It was just the recharge we all needed after a long winter! We’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you!!!

Awesome Guest Home

We (grandma and granddaddy) gave our kids & grandkids an experience for Christmas - snow tubing. I wanted a home that all 10 of us could sleep in. This home, Flower on the Mountain, fit all that and more! Exactly as pictured; awesome kitchen amenities; and very clean. Shannon was super nice to work with. The game room was wonderful to have - we could all play something.

Family Time At New Years

From start to finish, Shannon was fantastic! She was immediately responsive and available. The house was as pictured and fully stocked with TP, paper towels, dishwasher tabs, various coffeemakers, coffee beans, etc. There were numerous board games and a game room with arcade electronic games which kept all of us all busy. The beds were super comfy and the shower water was very forceful and hot, which was great after a long day of skiing. Outside was a good sized hotub and towels were provided for it, as well as a firepit, which was wonderful to sit beside and sip. Great family vacation and many memories. Thanks Shannon for providing such a great vacation housing experience!

Fantastic Getaway For Family!!!

We stayed at this property during JMU’s family weekend and couldn’t have been happier! The home is fully stocked, very clean, and comfortable. The game room is fantastic! We are keeping this home on the list to re-book next time we are in the area.

Great Stay

We have five children aging from 6 months to 11 years old. The house was great and our kids did not want to leave. We really appreciated the small things, such as having a high chair and pack and play for our 6 month old. Our older kids thoroughly enjoyed everything from the hot tub to the pop a shot basketball. Everyone, Mom and Dad included had a blast playing ping pong! Home is very clean and the hosts are excellent!!

Great house with everything you would need for vacation! Home away from home. Stocked coffee bar was a nice touch along with the snacks. The kids and adults had so much fun in the game room each night. Owners had great communication. Would definitely stay again!

Clean, comfortable property close to Massanutten. Owner provided lots of things such as snacks, coffee, paper towels, toilet paper, and dishwasher pods. Awesome back deck with fire pit, hot tub, and screened in porch. Would definitely stay again.

absolutely wonderful!

This property was absolutely wonderful for our entire family! It was so clean, comfortable, spacious, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with attention to all the little details! The location (and decor) was ideal for our trip to Shenandoah National Park. The hot tub, fire pit, game room, infinity table were all in excellent condition and were enjoyed by all! Shannon is a great host, answering questions, offering suggestions and helping to make our trip as smooth as possible! After staying 3 nights, we all left wishing we could have stayed longer :)

Beautiful Home!

The home was absolutely spotless, and the kitchen was well appointed for our multi-generational family. We really appreciated Shannon's information on things to do nearby. Great location

The house is clean and well equipped. The game room and infinity game table were a great bonus for kids and adults alike. Hot tub was nice to relax in. We dd a lot of hiking and swift run gap entrance to Shenandoah is only 15 minutes away. Additionally, my husband enjoyed the golfing at masanutten as well. The host was extremely communicative.

Beautiful house with bonus hot tub and game room!

Flower on the Mountain is a beautiful house that is exactly as listed. The property was pristine. Our families had so much fun using the hot tub and enjoyed the game room. Our host, Shannon, was quick to respond to any correspondence. It was the very best rental we’ve stayed at before. Highly recommend!

Frankly getaway

Every year our family travels to a local cabin with two other families. This was by far the coziest, cleanest, most fun house we’ve stayed in! Our boys are 7 yo and they loved all the games and the hot tub! The beds were extremely comfortable. Loved that we had full control of the air conditioning. We would definitely stay again!
