I stayed at this property the second week of August, it was quite hot and I had trouble with the air conditioning. The bedrooms had separate ac units but if they were all turned on the power goes out. The host was very kind and responsive and assisted me with fixing the power aswell as allowed for me to stay a little later pass check out time since we I had a troublesome night. The house it self is a little old, squeaky beds and stairs. The area around is quite, beach is just a 5 min walk, can be seen from living room window. For breakfast I stopped at Breakfast Central, it was absolutely delicious. Great customer service, portions were big, great prices.

Summer Vacation

The house is pretty good for six members. What I don’t like is that both the wash rooms don’t have privacy locks. And also the shower head is pretty low. The house is clean and kept in acceptable standard.

This is a clean, spacious, comfortable house to stay in. Hot showers, comfy towels and beds. Everything you need in walking distance to downtown Meaford. Well situated for hiking the Bruce Trail. Host is super responsive.

Cozy home by the lake

We just spent 2 nights at this 3 BR home. The house is cozy, perfectly clean, communication with the host was excellent, checkin was smooth. I was looking for a place to stay not too far from Blue Mountain and this house was perfect. It has a big mudroom with hooks, very helpful to leave all our snow clothes and boots. Kitchen has all essentials as well as toiletries and hair dryer in the bathroom upstairs. Everything that is listed was there. There seems to be an issue with the heating though. The house temperature was at 28C, so first floor was super hot however upstairs was just ok. We play around it and lower it when we were downstairs then increase the temp to 26 when we went to sleep, but basically if you close the door in the front rooms overnight they get too cold.I still gave them 5 stars because everything else was absolutely perfect, the host was super nice and helpful and we only stayed for 2 nights so it wasn't a big deal for us.
