Cottage Cedar Point. Profitez du Michigan Ă  son meilleur: des journĂ©es chaudes, des nuits fraĂźches et sans la foule estivale le long du rivage. Septembre et octobre sont mes prĂ©fĂ©rĂ©s. AnnĂ©e de solitude, profitez de la nature et du magnifique lac Michigan. Pratique, mais isolĂ©e, cette chambre Ă  trois lits, deux chalets avec boĂźte de sel de bain se trouve Ă  la pointe de Cedar Point. Juste sur Ridge Road, seul un petit boisĂ© vous sĂ©pare de l'escalier du parc qui vous mĂšne Ă  800 pieds de plage privĂ©e du lac Michigan, association privĂ©e, et aux fabuleux couchers de soleil sur le lac Michigan. Construit en 2003, le chalet dispose d’une cheminĂ©e en pierre et d’une grande terrasse Ă  l’arriĂšre qui surplombe le bois et le parc, ce qui vous protĂšge des voisins. Une chambre pouvant accueillir jusqu'Ă  quatre personnes se trouve en bas, de mĂȘme qu'une des deux salles de bain. À l'Ă©tage, un loft ouvert peut accueillir jusqu'Ă  quatre personnes et le bain de l'Ă©tage, qui sĂ©pare le loft de la chambre principale, est accessible depuis les deux. Une laveuse, une sĂ©cheuse et une table de ping-pong vous attendent au sous-sol, et deux kayaks sont disponibles pour sortir sur le lac Big ou sur la riviĂšre Pentwater. Les tĂ©lĂ©viseurs Ă  Ă©cran plat avec cĂąble dans le salon et le loft, ainsi que l'Internet sans fil sont Ă©galement des caractĂ©ristiques populaires!

The house was so welcoming from the minute we opened the front door. The amenities were great, the beds were comfy, and the set up was wonderful. It was a great place for family times, talking, playing board games, and it was near to great activities. A bonus was seeing Lake Michigan go wild - the weather was snowy and high winds and the lake was alive!

We had a great fall break weekend enjoying the colors, cooler temps, and accommodations. We had kids under 10-grandparents with us and this was a perfect fit for all of our personalities. We enjoyed the easy access to the beachfront - walking along the beach - our golden retriever loved tagging along. We utilized the fireplace outside to make smores our first night. The room accommodations worked well for our group of 5. The kitchen and linens were very well stocked. Directions were clear and easy to follow. The walk out basement made it easy for our dog to go in and out (and kudos to the fine details like towels by the door for the paws coming in!). Overall it was a great stay and we'd likely return! Thank you!

Carol and Bill are exceptional hosts. I have a chemical perfume sensitivity and I usually travel with my own sheets, towels and soap. Carol bought an unscented soap that I could use because she is so thoughtful. I smiled so much when I saw it by the washing machine. Their home is comfortable and so accessible to Lake Michigan. We spend the majority of our time there swimming and walking along the shore in early mornings and the afternoon and at night. This year, we walked to Pentwater and back on the beach. They also have marshmallows in the pantry for smores that we make at night and the kitchen has just the right amount of items we need to cook all of our meals every day. We appreciate they have a drip coffee maker. This is the second time we have stayed at their home and cannot wait to visit a third time. And we were lucky this year that we got to meet them in person so that was an extra treat. Thank you again, Carol and Bill for your lovely hospitality and comfortable home.

We loved the cottage.  It was a very nice setup with all the little things attended to, making the whole week very comfortable. Everyone in the family raved about it including the dogs ;) The location was fantastic, in the woods, a few minute walk to/from the beach.

Much needed peace

We had the most wonderful time at Cedar Point cottage. My kids and I needed a getaway after the death of my husband and my father within 3 months of each other and this cottage did the trick. The owners were very quick with responses to my questions, and the cottage had every amenity we needed and then some. We loved the location to both Pentwater and Silver Lake, and the beach was absolutely beautiful and so close!! Thank you for bringing some peace to my family. We will stay again!

Memorial Weekend Stay

Home was close enough to walk to the Lake. We were out in the country, but close enough to towns and other activities. Communication with owner was great. The Welcome book was very helpful and easy to read, along with favorite local spots to visit!

Lake Michigan Cottage

My family and I enjoyed our stay and we plan on returning to the same property later in the year! Very satisfied. We loved the cleanliness, short walk to the beach, table tennis and foosball, indoor fireplace, and the short drive to Pentwater.

Lake Michigan Autumn Getaway

Lovely large cottage with fireplace. We came back to the Pentwater - Mears area to relive some old camping memories. This place did not disappoint. Fully stocked kitchen, beautiful yard and only 30 seconds from the crashing waves of Lake Michigan. Owner was a super communicator. Day trips to Pentwater, Ludington, Montague, Whitehall, Shelby and Hart made for a winning weekend!

Perfect location

The property is as listed. It was stocked very well with towels, linens and kitchen supplies. The walk is very short to the beach and the beach is beautiful and was not crowded. It is a short drive to silver lake and Pentwater. It’s close to places to eat and shop if needed. The deck was great to drink your morning coffee on or eat dinner. There were extra beach chairs to take to the beach which was a lifesaver!! The kids loved having the ping pong table. There’s board games if there’s a rainy day. The WiFi worked perfectly. We didn’t get great reception but having the WiFi really helped. Carol was very responsive and shared great information about the house and location. I would vacation there again in a heartbeat!

Summer Vacation

We couldn't have asked for a better house and location for our family! The house is exactly as pictured, very clean, and had a well stocked kitchen, exta linens, wash cloths, bath towels, and beach towels. We took advantage of the beautiful beach every day. With young kids, this was ideal as we could go back and forth to the house and beach easily if needed. The backyard was very calming as the house was surrounded by trees and had a great pit for bonfires! The deck was spacious, we ate outside for dinner every night! The owners were very responsive when I had any questions or concerns. We would choose to stay at this home again and highly recommend it!

A Little Bit of Everything for Everyone

Nice escape for a fun beach vacation. Property has a short walk through wooded path down stairs to the beach for swimming and nighttime bonfire fun. Close to Silver Lake for fun at the Sand Dunes, Light House tour, ice cream, and fun park. Quick 15 minute drive north to Pentwater is a beautiful drive with fun places to shop and eat. If staying while it's hot out, the fans in the windows at night help a lot since there is no central air in house. Loved the enclosed backyard deck for outside gatherings and meals that allowed us to still visit with pets without worry of them running off or being tied up. Loved the entertainment space downstairs with the ping pong table as well. First vacation home we rented where coffee/creamer, condiments in fridge, and other thoughtful touches were included. Thank you!! Beautiful home. Would love to stay in the fall as well.
