Shopping area at a close vicinity. Beds super comfortable stay would have been better perfect except the greeter or bell boy named Diego was very rude. I asked him while I was leaving hotel about a taxi for 4 people he gave me 2 different prices when asked why he went up in price he said it’s too many of you, he then got mad raised his voice and told me I could just walk. I told him I was not happy with the way he was talking to me, that I did not deserve him to tell me to walk if I would have wanted too I would have walked with no problem. As the greeter or bell boy he was in the wrong position as he did not know manners nor about customer service. Just make sure when you stay at this hotel to know what you have bought from the fridge you have in the room, they tried to charge us items we had not touched from the fridge. Overall comfortable beds awesome breakfast.

This is my favorite place to stay in Medellin. It is a beautiful hotel, Safe, Quiet place, impeccably cleanliness, comfortable beds and beautiful rooms. Also have the best buffet breakfast and great dinner options.

My family and I (with two children, ages 6 and 11) stayed at the Dan Carlton from August 15 to 19, and unfortunately our experience was disappointing. On the first night, we were placed in a room beside the elevator, which made it almost impossible to sleep due to the constant noise. We requested a change and were told it would be handled by the time we returned later in the day, but it was not. Only after asking again did they move us to a different room. However, even in the new room, sleep was difficult. The hotel is located near several nightlife areas, and the windows are not soundproof, so loud music carried on throughout the night. We all had to sleep with ear plugs. Other frustrations included the front desk — always crowded, with only two staff members handling check-ins and check-outs, resulting in very long waits. In our second room, the safe box was not working, and it took 45 minutes for someone to come and fix it. Lastly, the breakfast was at best average. Overall, the hotel did not meet our expectations in terms of comfort or service. Is not a family friendly hotel in my opinion.
