Thankfully, we were only booked for one night, as we encountered several significant issues during our stay:Heating: We arrived at 7 PM to a freezing house (30F outside). The heat was off, and an upstairs window was left open. The mini-splits took hours to warm the rooms, and most remotes were missing. After searching everywhere for remotes for each unit, we messaged the host to let them know there weren't any remotes to turn on the majority of the heaters - they let us know that the remote was "universal".Kitchen: The kitchen was poorly stocked. There were no cups (only wine glasses) and zero forks (found a few in the dishwasher). The dishwasher was full of dishes upon arrival—the host said they "should be" clean, but we had no way of knowing, as some still looked dirty, so we hand-washed them before using them. There was also no dishwasher detergent provided to run it ourselves.Amenities: The main bathroom had no toilet paper, and the upstairs bath had only half a roll. (The host did drop off extras after we messaged them).Towels: Despite booking for 5 guests, only 4 were provided.Overall, the house was not prepped or ready for guests.
