The stay was PERFECT! Super close to Masjid Nabawi. The moment we walked in, Ahmed at check in treated us so nicely and knew exactly who we were. He was super accommodating. I would have given 5 stars just because the staff are incredible, excellent service throughout the hotel, they’re very friendly and accommodating. The only reason I have given 4 stars is because the showers would overflow every time they were used, we had two rooms and both showers were the same.

It’s my second time at Maden Hotel and I love everything about it — great location and service! At check-in, Abdullah (same name as me!) was super kind and smiling. He even gave us a room with four beds instead of two! Funny part — next day our key didn’t work because we were checked in under someone else’s name, so we had breakfast for free haha. Still, amazing stay and I’ll definitely come back!

Floors 11 and 12 are exclusive for those who book through another website. Other rooms (which were given to us at first) were of a much lower quality in terms of room size, bed quality and size, and no coffee machine. We had to wait for the manager for a couple of hours to change our rooms to any in the 11th or 12th floor which eventually happened. I'm contacting Expedia customer support regarding this discrimination.
