AVOID loud Bass till 5 am! Stay Sun to Thurs ONLY

CitiClub is in an excellent location. The rooms and bathroom are spacious. The lighting was sparse and dim. We moved one twin bed which was really dusty underneath. the sheets are so small they don't tuck in so become a wrinkled mess. Part of the conditions or stay is this info 'Nightclub is open on Friday & Saturday nights as well as Public Holiday Eve’s. Rooms will be affected by elevated noise levels. No refunds or changes available.' Neither this statement nor the website tells you this thumping bass goes until 5am. AVOID Friday OR Saturday!

Don’t stay on Fri or Sat night.

Hotel clean and friendly. The nightclub on Fri night 10pm -5am is just ridiculously loud. I was on 4th floor and the walls shook and the bed also sometimes. No sleep at all. Perfect Sun-Thurs i am sure but don’t stay here fri or sat unless you want to be sleeping in a nightclub. Staff so friendly. They even offer earplugs!!!!

Excellent location in the heart of Melbourne CBD, close to trams and Bourke St Mall. Easy check-in and received an upgrade upon arrival which was a lovely bonus! Everything most happy with.

A lovely clean and spacious room. The bathroom is a bit on the older side and is due for a revamp, especially the bath! It's in a location very convenient to shops, food and public transport.

Loud music in the wee hours

After we had booked, CitiClub sent us an email which said, amongst other things "Nightclub is open on Friday & Saturday nights as well as Public Holiday Eve’s. Rooms will be affected by elevated noise levels. No refunds or changes available." The noise started at 4pm on Saturday afternoon and went until 5am Sunday morning. I fell asleep sometime late Saturday night. I was awakened at 13:17 on Sunday by loud drum rolls (or electronic version thereof) which seemed to go on until around 2am. I was expecting the nightclub to then close. However, the music was then louder and very repetitive until 5am. I guess it was computer generated which explains why it could be so bad and so loud for so long.

So the night club which I was warned about wasn’t on but there is still a lot of noise from surrounding clubs. The property is dated but still clean the bed was good. I guess you get what you pay for. And if you’re not to phased about the noise it’s not a bad place to stay but I feel it needs to be clearer that its very loud
