We have staying a couple of times at the Rendezvous, so we were comfortable to access this booking. Reception were welcoming and our room upgrade having earned gold status was great. I suggest earplugs if you have a room overlooking Flinders Street Station as the trains and trams are pretty constant. The only down side was house keeping, had left the door hanger to freshen our room and this was not done until well after 4pm. I left a note on the bed for bathroom amenities to be filled up. The bed had been made partially with bins emptied but nothing else.

Good location but room small and not clean. Hotel needs a deep clean and updating. Buffet breakfast not that good,a lot of food run out waiting for plates, first morning when we went for breakfast a sign said wait to be seated then a waiter told us it was a free for all and said good luck. Definitely not a 4 star rating. Not a VIP Expedia hotel.

I recently had a great stay at the Rendezvous Hotel Melbourne. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. I also ordered room service, and the burger was absolutely delicious! It's always a treat when room service exceeds expectations. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would highly recommend the Rendezvous Hotel Melbourne for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great service and tasty food.

Had to ask for the simplest of things that would normally be found in most good hotels like, toothbrush, water, laundry service. The room that I was in had no where to hang anything except a very tiny closet. Even the bathroom did not have any place to hang used/unused clothing. When I asked for bottled water they said the tap water was ok for drinking. Asked repeated for laundry service but it was never given. I chose this hotel because it was highly rated by Expedia and I was totally disappointed. Will NEVER return to Rendezvous Hotel Melbourne again.

The room was very tidy and comfortable. Bed was very good, shower was great. The only thing I didn't like was the sensor light in the bathroom - not great for a person like me who goes several times to the toilet during the night. Will be staying here again later in the year. One other thing - at the restaurant in the morning, it would be a good idea to provide Weet-Bix as a cereal option as this is the best cereal for diabetics (like my friend and I).
