The hotel is very well situated with a team stop outside and a short walk from Flinders Street station. My room was small but comfortable. My only complaint would be that although the room was generally quiet and I never heard any noise from adjacent rooms, anyone walking passed or talking in the corridor could be heard quite clearly.

This was our second stay at this hotel. We love the location and the charm of the 1912 building. The rooms are sensitivity renovated and although small, are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is nice, too. Im aure well be back!

Thank you for the lovely warm welcome when we arrived. We had a great overnight stay. The hotel is just beautiful. Our room was exceptionally clean, the towels were nice and thick and the bed - so so comfortable. Loved the premium selection of teas - thank you!! Breakfast was very good. The car parking was very convenient to the hotel, a little tight, but manageable. We are staying again later in the year and looking forward to it.

Room felt very neglected. May have had a fresh coat of paint. However the furniture was dirty very poor worn out beds. House keeping is the poorest/worst to non at all. 6 day stay not once was this room vacuumed or cleaned down during stay nor was it before my staff. Hair on carpets, Dirty bath tub, coffee station and fridge dirty and dusty. This was my second stay within 14 days and the first stay I gave 3 stars for a leaking toilet in a walk in shower. Really didn’t think it could get any worse but it did. Lobby area breakfast excellent. However where it mattered the room itself this gave a feel of a poor quality motel not even a hotel. Rooms were not comfortable.
